Just watched the first 8 episodes this weekend too. I love that it is in the style of the classic syndicated shows like Hercules, but with more blood, tits and sex. And Xena looks fucking great!
I laughed my ass off when that guy from the pits shouts, “Who wants to face me?”. Priceless. I’m a big fan of shows not trying to be more than what they are. Now all we need is a cameo by Bruce Campbell!
Oh, and I’m not usually the “eye candy” type girl, but god damn!

I’m pretty sure showing nudity for nudity’s sake was one of the main intentions of the creators of the show. There’s plenty of scenes that didn’t require nudity. They’re doing it for the ratings.
Show is ok. The Rome series was 100x better. They male to female eye candy ratio is way off. They need to show alot more tits and dyking out to balance it.
The first episode was ok… next 4 to 5 sucked… but after that it really caught its groove and has gotten a lot better. They finally decided how to film a decent fight scene and since then its gotten a lot better. Now that there is an actually story line going on multiple levels its also a lot more interesting…
I am however glad that in the newest episode every other word was not Jupiters Co*k… the writers finally grew up a little and put some more thought into the dialoug…

I had this sitting on my DVR since it began and just started watching it over the last 3 or 4 days. The first episode was fucking horrible the director didn’t know how to film a big battle scene for shit and the set backdrops were poor. So I kinda had low expectations for this, then by the second episode it got better and it continued getting better all the way through. I really like the story between Crixus(sp), Lucy Lawless, and the Hot slave chick. That aspect of the story is way more intriguing to me. Spartacus hardly gets any screen time which is fine with me because like Tyrant said I got real tired of hearing him scream over and over.
Yes Rome was way better but his has its place. What this does have that Rome doesn’t is Lucy Lawless and Lucy Lawless is fucking HAWT! I would let her MILFY ass gobble on deez nutz any day of the week, damn!

I watched the “Whore” Episode last night and HOLY FUCKING SHIT!! That was the best acted porno I’ve ever seen. I wanna say there was random tit & bush on the screen every 3-5 minutes. The scene at the end was ridiculous, Damn good episode!

Spartacus just found out Batiatus arranged for his wife’s death, I knew that would be his breaking point. Reading the real history of Spartacus, I was wondering how Crixus ever throws in with Spartacus, I was thinking Domina had Crixus’ love interest killled because she finds out about it.
Yea thats what its looking like, than crixus kills her, and is set up to be put to death and since spartacus is ready for revenge and sees crixus has no more interest being a gladiator he revolts and saves him.
