I’ve never competed in strongman comps before and was wondering if this would be a good first try. I live down in Alabama and am on leave from the army before getting out so the drive is not a concern. I’m just looking for an in to see how I would do. Thanks.

I’ve heard great things about tom kaufman’s shows. Looking at the events it’s definitely not crazy heavy, but I think you could find lighter contests - so I’d say it’s middle of the road. Since you’re lifting a stone in your avatar, i presume that you access to the implements. Without knowing anythign more, I’d sy this could be ideal for your first show
