Mine is Jay-Z’s “Roc Boys”. I made it myself though!
I might switch back to Knightrider though.
I only like Underground Hip Hop…
#1. You can understand them.
#2. They use intelligent verses.
#3. Not every D-bag is listening to them.
#4. The beats are MUCH more unique.
I’ll end it there…
I almost feel bad for Soulja Boy in all of this. When a kindergartner draws a horse, you don’t get mad a the kid because it’s really just some brown scribbles. You don’t yell at the kid and say he killed drawing.
The problem here is Soulja Boy drew a “horse” and radio stations all over the world put that drawing on billboards and all over our refrigerators. Soulja Boy’s drawing covered up all the pizza coupons and other stuff we like. So people get mad at the dumb kindergartner.
As far as killing hip hop, how is Crank Dat even considered hip hop? Is the Chicken Dance hip hop? What genre is the Hokey Pokey? It’s all just line dance music people like to do at parties. The Macarena, Boot Scoot Boogie – they’re all the same.
Wait, maybe Soulja Boy did kill hip hop. I think the Electric Slide killed disco, too. Boogie woogie woogie

LOL.
Yes, his horse only gets to us because it seems like they just keep tossing up more horses…and pictures of fruit with the banana painted orange. I don’t hate the kid, but DAMN, how is he even still being talked about now? Shouldn’t he have died off after the first couple of songs he released?
Who is keeping his horses on the fridge?

Girls.
Living in NY luckily we are spared most of Soulja Boys garbage. We did get subjected to crank dat which has its place in the club, but thank GOD that Yah Trick Yah crap didn’t make it on the air waves up here. His new album came out and is suffering terribly so maybe there is some karma after all.
And the truth of the matter is I don’t mind music meant for the clubs, T-pain & Akon almost exclusively make songs to dance to. I really don’t mind that. It is the cockiness and undeserved arrogance that this kid gives off that makes me really can’t stand him. Granted Kanye is arrogant but, he makes good music. He makes inciteful music. Not nonsensical foolishiness like Soulja Boy.
Real good hip hop is out there in abundance its just no longer the for front of rap, you have to go looking for it now.
Edit
My phone ringtone is “I Really Mean it” by Dipset.

I got two Happy Hardcore ringtones and one by Outkast.
Everytime my phone rings I hear the lyrical genius of Tupac coupled with the wonderous beat of a 9mm.
1:24 is the start.
Thug life.
