Soreness

Hey guys,
I was hit by a drunk driver back in 2004 and recently got back into the gym after all the therapy and shit. one question is that i work out and the next day i feel great but the the day AFTER that i am really sore.

For example, i did back and bi’s on monday and today i cant even straighten my arms but yeaterday i was fine

Delayed onset muscle soreness. Normal for someone who has not worked out in a while. Be sure to stretch and take it a bit slower for the first couple of weeks. Also be sure to eat enough protein and drink plenty of water.

I experience this too if I haven’t been to the gym in a while. I’m sure the more you work out, the less sore you will be.

I think that as we get older, sorness and pains appear later than when we were younger and we could feel the sorness the very next day… I think it’s normal.
