my wife and i stayed at occidental grand for our honeymoon last june…was that the safari tour i see you two on? visit into the bush to see the locals, sugar cane, body surfing at the end of the day, etc?
Actually, it looks like the sandbar on the way to Saona Island in the Dominican Republic. Just got back from there a couple of weeks ago. . .

If you were in the D.R., did you get to try the mamajuana?

We were at the Grand Bahia Principe… but some of the pics were indeed taken at Saona Island

Have to make a comment about pic #3. The hair of the person sitting behind you got in the shot so it looks like you shaved your head but left a mullet-type tuft of hair in the back. Hey, I had to make fun. But seriously, you two make a really nice looking couple. It’s like you both belong together. And needless to say Mrs. Thibs looks amazing.
Ha! You beat me to it. I actually laughed hard when I saw the ‘CT Super-Mullet’ pic.

And yes, CT you look like a cute couple.

Oh and FYI Christian. Here in the UK, if I were to say “She showed me a picture of her starfish” It would have a rather rude connotation.

I’ll let you work it out.

Cross-sultural differences aside, she has a nice starfish. That she is holding.

you look great in these pics. when you are on holiday, or simply unable to train/eat properly with ease, do you just completely let go (im sure not) or do you find yourself unable to resist doing pushups and pullups/abs when youget a chance, and try to eat as cledan as poss, or just enjoy pigging out for a short period?
thanks

 1. I always train while on vacation. Most big resort have a gym… not a great one, but with some imagination (twice I used a leg press to do an incline press) you can pull off a decent workout.

 2. We walk a lot. When we go to all-included resorts, these are fairly huge. For example on our last vacation the beach was 10 minutes on foot from our room, the restaurant was 10 minutes from our room and 20 minutes from the beach. So we walk for at least 90-120 minutes per day. We also play beach sports like volleyball when possible.

 3. Because of the size of the resort, and because we want to catch as much sun as we can, we only go eat twice during the day and sometimes have a snack. So even if I indulge in ‘‘indecent’’ food choices, the total caloric intake of the day isn’t higher than what I usually get when I’m at home.

 4. And even if all the food choices are not optimal, there is very little actual ‘‘junk food’’ in those resorts. So in the morning I might get 6-9 thin slices of ham and pancakes or eggs, have 1-2 burgers at lunch (I always eat my burgers plain, most of the time I have une bun and two patties) and burgers fruits for supper. All and all I might be getting 180-240g of protein, 300g of carbs and 150g of fat per day for 3400 calories per day. This is actually about 400-600 less than I usually get. So even though my food choices are not ideal, I always find myself losing 3-4lbs while on vacation with not loss of strength.

It’s either perfectionism or a body image problem that leads to extra efforts.
Well there’d be no point in saying “I look just fine”.

Fuck. Huge

CT, I hate to break it to ya, but I think you may have Bigorexia…

LOL, what I don’t get is why people hold issue with others for holding high standards for themselves.

Interesting video. I think it boils down to the thin line between passion and obsession.

how’d the misses do getting back in to the diet and training after the vacation?

Any peri-workout protocol while you are on vacation? Or you just eat what you mentioned above?

A mental defect that makes you eat well, sleep well, lift hard AND gives you the drive to be one of the best (if not THE best) in the world?

That just sounds… terrible =/

You look awesome CT - very inspiring!
What does your shoulder training consist off? I’d love to get some insight, because your shoulders are like cannonballs. What do you do to get them so round?
