…it was sweet. He was sitting like 10 feet away from me. couple things:
he is enormous, way bigger than he looks in pics
he is really tan
he is totally badass.
Anyway, just wanted to share. I saw a pair of big arms and i was like damn that dude’s arm and forearm is fucking huge. then i looked up and i was like holy shit its vin diesel! kidding, kidding. i knew it was him, was excited, then realized there was NO ONE i could tell because no one knows who he is. but i do, and it was cool. anyway CT, how did you like the game?
Lol! I remember going to some sleezy Strip Joint many years ago out on Long Island with my 2 brothers. I’m not really the biggest fan of Strip clubs, but as we walk in and the ‘Doorman’ checks out IDs, I recognize the dude from Flex Magazine.
I didn’t know if it was cool or not to know who this guy actually was (“Hey! you’re Johnny Moya! You were just in the Olympia!”), he didn’t seem too thrilled,… oh, and my brother was totally ashamed that was my highlight for the evening. -lol
Man, if I saw Thibs I’d be a totally fan-boy about it,. sooo many questions, I’m sure I’d ruin the game for him.
I saw TC the other day. He was wearing a big raincoat that went down to his knees, which was the darndest thing, because it wasn’t even rainy out. He must have been wearing shorts underneath it, too, because his knees and calfs were exposed. He kept muttering something about his “little friend,” whatever that was about. Huh.

That’s awesome you saw him. It’s like seeing someone famous (which he is, among T-Nation, of course). Did you talk to him?
Go Cards!
didn’t talk to him. i didn’t want to be awkward, plus he looked kinda uncomfortable (it was really hot) and he was with other people… a dude that was also pretty huge, and a lady that was very muscular.

Yeah, that was Steph (athletic director at CIHP) and Alex one of our coach. I was DRENCHED in sweat… I think I lost 20lbs that night!!! Pretty sweet tickets though, Joe Buck is one of my clients so he gave us luxury box seats.
BTW, thanks for not talking about the 6 burgers, 3 cookies, 3 ice cream bowls and fries that I ate

I ran into David Barr at the adult video theater last week, he was even nice enough to give me some lotion after he’d seen that I’d run dry.
Well the Cards did win 10-1 … so for die hard Cards fans it was cool, but for an overall sports fan like myself it pretty much sucked. I’m becoming a Cards fan, but I never like blowouts.
The cool thing is that we spent the last 3 innings in the broadcast booth with Joe.
holy shit! joe buck is one of your clients? thats awesome. lol i thought about mentioning the two servings of Dibs i saw you put down… (those things are amazingly good, btw… so good) but i figured i would let you tell that story.
yeah i saw you all leave, then went into pee and something happened in the game and looked up at the tv screen in front of the bar. when i turned around, there you were, like two feet away from me, turning down a cookie “because you were supposed to be on a diet”. lol, I assume that other lady was a cardinal’s rep? anyway it was cool to see an idol in real life.

Actually thst lady was Anne Buck, Joe’s wife. She also trains at our gym. She was kinda making fun of me because she saw the pile of empty trash beneath my seat… the cookie was really for her daughter.

Well, the dibs were only to help me cool off, obviously. The funny thing is that despite all that I ate, I was actually 3lbs lighter the next morning… go figure…

Yep, one of the funniest guy I know… the guy is a constant riot… probably the only person who can tell jokes and do impressions in the middle of a german volume training workout where the rest periods are replaced by some sled pulling!!!
