I was curious to hear others opinions and hopefully start a dialogue with some of the more experienced guys and vets!
I’m in week two of my first cycle; pretty much your standard 10wk Test e500/Dbol kick wk 1-4. The only thing worth noting is that I front loaded the Test e. I did 500mg on Sunday night and 500mg Tuesday night. I guess I’ll start pinning 250 twice a week starting Sunday? Also I’m taking .5 Arimidex EOD, And I’m planning to do a standard Nolva split for PCT.
I’m 30yrs old, I’m just under 6’4" and I weighed 282lbs yesterday. I had my body fat % done and I’m 14% which I know for most guys is a little high but how many 282lb guys do you know that are under 5% Naturally??
Even though I pinned a semi high dose of test both times I felt ZERO pain! None at all! Is it because the gear is good, or bad? Or maybe I did something wrong?
I have tons of questions but I don’t want to write a huge post. I would love to hear from some of you guys especially if I’m doing something wrong!! Thanks…
As for 14% I had my body tested at a local YMCA so the accuracy could be questionable…If I had to guess just based on experience and knowing my body I’d honestly day I’m closer to 18%.
‘Questionable’ is quite the understatement. Hate to break it to you, but you’re very clearly well over 20%. Without a doubt. What sort of ‘test’ did the YMCA do?
Dude, you are obese or near there. It’s hard to tell how much muscle you have from your pic and at this bodyfat level. But it’s ok. Just focus on weight loss for this cycle.
You will need to lose up to 40lbs to look lean. If you do it right, it will be a great transformation. How about logging your progress here?
They called it a Bioelectrical impedance analysis. They basically had me lie down on a rubber type mat and attached some wires to me hands and feet. Similar to an EKG but the little electrodes or whatever they are weren’t very sticky and kept falling off. Again this was a local YMCA and the whole thing seemed pretty shotty to me. I agree that 14 isn’t correct but I don’t think I’m any higher than 20% my best guess would be somewhere between 18-20%. I know that this is high but my goals are not physique or aesthetically related. I’m concerned purely with strength, explosive power, and athletic ability. Just for kicks, can one of you guys show me an example of a guy over 280lbs that is around 14%??
@dt49 You are absolutely right according to my doctor and BMI I am considered “morbidly obese” even though I am only a couple years removed from playing at a D1 football program (please don’t ask where) where I played at no lower than 290lbs in season. I’m not fooling myself or anyone else on here I’m a big guy with a good amount of fat… I blame some of that on the fact that coaches and trainers constantly told me I needed to “Bulk Up” to get to a point where I could compete for a roster spot in college. I also took too long to educate myself better on nutrition.
BMI doesn’t mean much if you carry an above average amount of muscle mass as it fails to take that into account. I don’t think you are morbidly obese but your bodyfat level is definitely above 20%, which would make you obese or near it.
No one is judging you for your bodyfat levels if your goal is not aesthetics. It’s just assumed that someone who starts a basic cycle like yours is in it for bodycomp purposes, so the above advice was given accordingly.
But no matter what your goals are, nutrition is of the upmost importance, so do make that a priority.
Absolutely agree on the importance of diet and that is and will be my primary focus. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to look like a stud for the ladies but that’s not my primary goal. I will definitely use this as a log for my progress going forward. Ideally I envision this type of transformation by Eagles guard Evan Mathis, I feel like we are both starting with a very similar body type

The picture on the right is probably in the 12-14 range, for reference.
Hate to tell you this but your fat, you don’t look strong or even look like you workout I doubt you have been training for longer then a few months and you are probably looking for a shortcut. You are probably going to waste your money and not make any progress with this cycle due to the fact that you have no idea about nutrition nor do you have the knowledge or proper training. Save your money save your gear drop some weight first and then start cycling.
Ok…I’ll just forget the past eight years in which Ive competed and excelled in extremely difficult collegiate sports…Without the use of any kind of aas I should mention and wait until you tell me I’m ready. I admitted that my bf% is in a higher range. Fortunately I don’t really care that you “think I look fat” and that I’m blessed to be stronger and most importantly faster and more explosive than most people. Tell these guys that they are fat and don’t look like they train…
