and the payoff
Great post!
Those are some brutal leg kicks.
I want mine to be that heavy
I know that in muay thai the entire leg is a target, but that fight was dirty. Only thing he did was sweep the leg and attack the knee/calf. The other guy should have seen it coming if his left leg was a weak point, but show a little sportsmanship.

I think he kicked to the thigh most of the time. To me it looked like when the other guys thigh was hurt, he was raising his leg a little, not really shin blocking but just trying to escape the punishment on his leg, thus resulting in the kicks landing on his knee/calf. He also didn’t really shield against the kick any more, most likely because of the pain, which is why he got swept from his feet.
Besides, if you’re in a fight and found something that works really well, do you suddenly just stop using it because it hurts the other guy?
It’s like saying:“Vlad realized his jab was too fast and powerful for his opponent, so he he just exploited this over and over, the ass.”
Hey this is fun!
“Fedor was slowly being choked inside Werdum’s guard. So he just kept pressuring instead showing a little sportsmanship.”
hehe
“King Mo took Mousasi down almost every time, which seemed to be his weak point.
Guess he should’ve practised takedown defense more, but c’mon, this was practically the only thing Mo did, that’s hardly fair!”
Yeah lol…in boxing if the body shots are workin…well guess what your gonna set up for the next shot? MMMHMMMM! lol

HOLY FUCK!
Brutal leg kicks!
Just realized he’s doing squats and over head press with 225 for reps.
Strong guy.
Specifically, he’s doing behind-the-neck thrusters with ~100kg for reps.
You guys see the warm up he’s doing?
I call these bodybuilder’s style c&p, done with optimal working speed. One of the best upper trapecius exercises.
Very different from a normal c&p.

Yeah no shit? But you can condition against body shots, and you’re able to defend your upper body much better than your legs. I’m sure you all know that the knee is a very vulnerable target if hit hard, and to me if you keep hunting on the knees you’re a coward. Try to beat him with some fair play, it’s sport (a barbaric one at that), not war.

Then again, his opponent could always submit if he felt the risk was no longer worth it…

Wah wah motherfucking wah. You know the targets when you sign up for the bout, it’s not like they suddenly sprung leg kicks on you the day of the fight. Don’t want to keep getting kicked in the legs? Learn to defend against a legal technique, or don’t bitch when someone owns you with it.

QFT…some people need to stick to playing golf or something.
KICKBOXING IS A COMBAT SPORT.
If you dont know what that means, you’re in the wrong thread.
