From the remarks of those who posted here, it reminds me of the scene in the movie Jarhead where they all go insane and are so desperate to kill.
Were they trying to kill the dog? I don’t know, I didn’t watch the movie, I get grossed out by even slightly disgusting things (I am the guy who throws up because he saw someone else throw up), so this probably wasn’t for me.
Do I agree with their actions based on what everyone says? Absolutely not, it’s animal cruelty. But, would I go insane being away from the states for months at a time, watching as fellow soldiers are blown to pieces by IED’s, roadside bombs, RPG’s, and as someone stated earlier, “civilians walk the street” with AKs (that might be an exaggeration)? Most likely. Not that I accept this behavior, but I can understand it to an extent.
GeorgeBushRules, fighting for freedom has absolutely nothing to do with soldiers throwing rocks at disabled animals, or my girlfriend/wife getting raped by foreigners. The US a greater country than all the others, but for that reason we should hold ourselves to higher standards and condemn this behavior from anyone, wearing a uniform or otherwise.
I’m not going to say anything, because I’m not over there seeing the things they are seeing.
In my mind, yeah… thats a little twisted… but then again, I’m not in the middle of the desert surrounded by people who are armed and do not want me to be there.
I didn’t volunteer to risk my life nor do I get paid to risk it everyday like these guys, therefore I don’t think I have the right to judge them.

Yes, some people, maybe even PGA, grow up in rich families and goto private schools and live great lives. But for others, like myself, it wasn’t quite luxurious.
