And I tried something new at the gym today…I kept my head up and made eye contact and smiled at people as they passed. Maybe next I’ll take my ipod out in between lifts. [/quote]

Yay! Go you!! Next thing you know you won’t be able to get anything done because everyone will be all up in your bidness.

Awww! Boo bear is a cutie

Strongman comp FTW! Do it.

It’s not like you exactly like you said he or she in the other post lol

OH! I wasn’t meaning to be snippy!! It was more like a birth announcement!

Man, she doesn’t sleep too well in a kennel…and I fell for her doggy tricks after just 2 minutes of her barking… she sleeps just fine at the foot of my bed.

Kalle- sure thing!

L. would you really do it with me?? Theres a group in Bel Aire that trains strongman. Not sure if your familiar with that area. It’s at least 1.5 hrs from me. There used to be a group in Waldorf that I would go to…

oh yes do it, it sounds like a lot of fun! i bet they will be super happy that you showed up and supportive. that is one very cute dog. love her ears!

Definitely do the strongman thing! Sounds like so much fun.

So many things to catch up with in your log. Whew! Alright, loved all the vids. The bridge was awesome. Dogs are the best. The first one we had when I was a kid found us.

Oh, and good luck with the squat form. Working on that is a never-ending endeavor for me. Always something that can be improved upon.

You are a far more friendly gym-goer than I… I purposefully DO NOT make eye-contact with people. And I’m noisy and bitch at people for moving in on my space or trying to swipe my squat rack or leaving the bars loaded and/or plates all over the floor. But nobody cares if I’m wearing the ridiculous volleyball shorts. Hmmmm. Wonder why. The exception to my icy attitude is when I see women who are trying or need help moving plates, etc. Then I’m my usual nice self. Guess you sorta have to be friendly if you work there.

Enjoy the nice spring weather down there.

Hmmm… well, I’m pretty sure Bel Air is at least that far away from me, too. Not sure about Waldorf. (I’m not too good with MD geography yet…) I would definitely meet up to train with you, but I’ll have to think about doing the strongman. I couldn’t find anything about the events online, do you have any info? If I don’t compete, I’ll definitely come watch!

Waldorf is probably the same distance as it is for me, depending how far north you are.

I still have to email to get more details…I’ll let you know!!

Was supposed to go to the Celtic Festival but have been running around doing doggy stuff. I have a feeling she has been abandoned. No reports matching her description have come in. In 13 more days, she will legally be ours. Only thing left to do is hang signs. Or not hang signs like Nikki

Nah, she’s super sweet and well mannered…still a possibility someone may be missing her out there and I want to make sure to do the right thing.

And I was right. The shelter thinks she is a rotty/shepherd mix with beagle or lab… approximately 2-3 yrs old.

squeals puppay! She’s pretty

Nice back walkover! I tried that last year and succeeded but strained my neck :frowning: Between you and Nikki’s handstands and Nadia’s log I’m tempted to try some of that stuff again.

LOL I know. I can imagine you saying it like that in a baby delivery room, telling the friends in the waiting room the gender.

I didn’t take it wrong. I just felt bad for calling the dog a boy. That’s offensive to the pup =D

The dog can be abandoned. I saw on the news that people are letting their dogs out on the street because it’s hard to take care of them.
Ok, I can’t talk about that anymore, that topic saddens me ;(

Ink- I forgot to thank ya for once again, lighting a flame under my arse. You really are a great cheerleader!!

Maschy- I also forgot to mention, thats the whole reason I DO wear my ipod…plus, it’s good for the pumpz…

OMG…the fellas were taking measurements and outta curiosity I measured my leg. I’ve lost .5" off my quad in a week.
The biggest part of my quad is 20.5" wtf…Need to grow those suckers.

How could anyone leave this face?

.

Hi Mims.

Cute puppy!

Aw, I like the long lean legs. They look like they go alll the way up!

That dog looks delicious

PAWS OFF!

Why won’t you share?Just a lil taste

pweeze

.

That’s a really cute puppy. I live in campus housing right now so I can’t have pets, but as soon as I find a place for next year, I’m going to be very tempted to get one. They’re so awesome. lol.

OHHHH!!! That lil pooper is adorable!!! I love her ears
Happy hubby come home month :)I bet today’s a pretty cool day to be in the armed forces community

and HAIIIIIIIIIIIII ?? are you able to get your tattoo worked on? I just remembered and was wondering if you got anything added to it

Blaze- …we’ve had two beagles before, each at different times. Didn’t work out so well, timing was off, etc…And what makes this time different is that my kids aren’t so small and they can HELP. It doesn’t feel like I’m taking care of three babies. And this dog is older and has some basic training under her ‘belt.’

!back atcha! Brute

nothing about this weekend went as planned/expected.

  • I didn’t expect a new family member in the form of a dog to show up on Friday.

  • I didn’t expect to be driving around all of Saturday doing doggy stuff…was planning to go to the Celtic Festival…

  • I didn’t expect my Tattoo guy to be such a slacker and not have anything done! grrr

I went over there anyway so we can plan. This Friday for sure!

And yes, the news of Bin Laden is a huge Morale boost and a feeling that some justice has been served…but there is still a TON of work left to be done in those countries…and it’s kind of like ‘now what?’ what does this mean for all the rest of the scum that followed Osama? Will they just off themselves? HOPEFULLY!!!
