Soldiering On

Nikki- I never laughed at you…maybe just questioned your sanity…haha!

LP- RFL is the only diet I’ve ever done…it took me from 220 to 190 in about 3.5 months months…pure awesomeness.

I got down into the 170s on my own, which took FOR.EVER.

I’m trying not to get caught up in the number, per se, but it’s pissing me off being stuck and I want to prove to myself that I can. 160-165 being the magic number.

Oddly enough, I feel good energy wise on this diet…no pills either. The lack of variety can get to you if you let it. But it forces you to experiment with spices, etc…

I try not to go overboard with the volume and don’t push it if Im not feeling it.

Food

BIG protein shake

Cabbage n white fish
*not for the faint of heart, lol. not enough beano could prevent the tummy rumbling from that meal…

another protein shake
*this time with diet orange soda…YUM!

shrimp
broccoli

Bout a gallon of water, 8 fishy caps…not all at once

What protein flavor do you have? I guess thinking about it, vanilla will go well with orange soda? Hmm

Heh, maybe some diet root beer and vanilla PP… root beer float
Dropping weight can most definetely be tasty.

yep, vanilla flavored…

diet cream soda is good too!

Chocolate pp + cherry coke? hmmm

Theres probably a lot of combos and it’s fun to experiment!

MinM

always so busy…tearing it up
glad your little girl is well.

cabbage and whitefish- you are brave.

Just stopping in to say “Hi” and good luck with your diet. I don’t think I could do all that volume on your workout. Wow. Between that and your diet, you should definitely bust through your plateau.

Hey KM, you stranger…hows things?
Am I really that busy?

I look at people like Maschy(who are working on stuff like there PHDs!!!) and think, 'whoah, THEY are busy!!
I’m so glad I’m not in school or working right now…then ya, that would be pretty crazy…

But this IS my job …soon I will get back into getting stuff done for moi…I think as military wives, you put things on hold… I’m just now realizing this after 14 years… The fellas sacrifice there time in service, but the women at home supporting them sacrifice time as well…

I wouldn’t trade it and I think I’ve done the best I can.

Went off an a rant there, lol…

Hiya Whysper…THANKS!!!

Looking good MiM!

The orange soda idea is a good one. Generally I don’t drink that stuff but that sounds yummy.

I love cabbage! Today (St Patty’s Day) must be one of the highest cabbage consumption days of the year. Don’t people eat pig butt and cabbage on this holiday?

Mim: You’re looking great. checked on your link. I have a feeling this last dietary push is going to be it for you–you’re so close to where you want to be–the timing is just perfect with good weather right around the corner. I’m pumped for you. You got this!

cabbage makes me gassy.

gassy aint good.

is this too much sharing?

solly~

Cabbage is gross. Corned beef and cabbage is an annual meal at the in-laws, but I never EVER eat the steamed cabbage.

BARF!

Also, on the “soda” topic (or “pop” for you easterners) have you ever taken a box of cake mix, mixed it with 1 can of soda (instead of the usual oil/egg combo) and baked as directed? Super moist and delicious, without the crap that the oil adds to it.

Try it on a refeed!

Thank you VS!! I love all green things

Nadia!! Yes, one final push…
We’ll see how these next 10 lbs look.

Edgy- we’re all friends here!

Ink- pic is for you…not corn beef and cabbage…but a really thinly sliced pork chop…We eat that stuff every year too, along with carrots and red potatos…

This tasted pretty good…I think one of the ingredients in the corn beef spice are coriander…I used it on my pork chop and it tasted very similar!!

Aww! Thanks MiM. That’s sweet of you to say. And its funny, because I look at you and other moms and I wonder, “how does she hold it together and get everything done!” lol! Your my inspiration

Your last training sesh was crazy! I’m totally stealing it. ANd yeah, ATG is humbling, that’s for sure.

Mm…cabbage and pig parts. What could be better?!

Yum to this. I do love my shrimp. And I saw the mirror pics of your midsection. My, my you are looking really good, and quiting smoking to boot. Congratulations!

That looks delicious and I don’t even like pork chops.

Corned beef and cabbage… nom. For my guilty version, I cook the cabbage in oil, not steamed. That with corned beef with tomato and rice… I just got a shiver :stuck_out_tongue:

To the pic, freakin yum!!

Cabbage is not gross.

Training:

Pendlay rows- 4x10x65
MP 4x6x65 meh

I got a new exercise ball. Think it needs more air.

reverse hypers(vid for your entertainment.) I think I’ll try it this way next time:

side/front raises- 3x12

bis, tris- 2x20
abz
CIMG0112 - YouTube

Glutes are still barking from Wed…sometimes I forget they are a muscle too!

Your cabbage and pork chop plate looks delicious! Good workout - you’ve got some really nice hamstring definition going on there.

Lunch!

3 cups shredded cabbage
2 cans tuna
lemon juice
soy sauce
wasabi
sesame seeds
ginger

took like 1 minute to make…I added too much wasabi but it made fun to eat!

Non-dieting mode, you could add some mayo and avacado on top…and those little crunchy noodles. Also, I’ve made this with the flavored tuna packet things…(smoked flavor is good)
