Sodium and the V-Diet

Any of you have thoughts on increasing sodium during the v-diet?

After reading that article a couple weeks ago about sodium I thought a smart way to increase sodium levels without ruining the v-diet at all would be chicken broth. It’s about 10 calories, 1 carb, 1 protein, .5 fat, 980mg sodium per cup.

This was the article:

What do you guys think?

I’ve mentioned this a few times over the past year. You really start to crave salt on the diet, chicken broth is the perfect solution.

Indeed it tasted great and I don’t really worry about the small, small amount of calories.

My question was mainly, would it benefit you on this low-carb diet, aside with coping with the diet but actually helping with looking “harder” and many of the other benefits listed in the article above. It doesn’t seem to be hindering anything.
