done. back was fried. We trained these with the bar at 15" because it is a event at a strongman competition we are doing in Feb. It’s actually a truck tire deadlift but, the pick height is 15". Awesome day really. Everyone kicked ass. We all hit PR’s.

405x2 missed 3rd PR. Big milestone for me to even handle 405 to a board. Normally, I would have just collapsed.
Rep set:
315x10. Ugly, didn’t fully lock out most reps but, whatever, I moved it 10 times haha. Rep PR by 1.
Lat pull downs with blue (strong) bands
4-5 sets. 10-20 reps per set
Push ups (on atlas stones)
4 sets. 8-14 reps each (shut up…I’m fat)
Biceps
only did 2 sets of 15ish w/ 30lb+fat grip
Did one set of shrugs but, I can’t get much out of barbell shrugs. I’m a bitch, mainly but, I’d rather use the farmers handles and when it came down to do shrugs, I was tired (read: lazy) and didn’t move them to where I could shrug them.
I’m happy with today. We had a full gym! Very happy to have our visitors and wish they would come train with us more often. We were missing Jordan today but, hope to see him on Friday. I’m beyond happy with handling 405 even though it was to a 2 board. It’s a big goal of mine to bench it to chest someday. Wes (PC’s cousin that visited today had some Metal forearm wraps and they helped with my bicep/elbow pain tremendously today. Very thankful that he let me use them. Everyone did well. I wish PC would have had a better day but, he always comes back better than ever! Rest up my brother, don’t let today get you down. I think we are going to have a friend that competes in strongman (placed 8th in Nationals in the 231(i think) this year) coming to train with us on Saturday. Should be insightful and educational for us. Hope you guys are doing well, T-Nation brothers!

raw walked out speed squats to 16" box, SSB and green bands, add 190 @ top and 135 @ bottom, no belt or wraps
worked up to 425 greens for 2 reps moved pretty good, did a few light speed pulls and out

all in all a decent week considering how horrible ive felt and have gotten about 2hrs of sleep everynight, oh well thats life, i hope everyone’s doing well and im so proud of my guys, everyone’s really kicking ass especially mosley, hes starting to really take off, so proud of you man!

done. too excited to do anything else. I can’t explain how much that set meant to me. It’s been a slow road back but, that is an all time, belt only, raw, walked out squat for me. my best just before may 2011 was 495x2 and they were probably high. now, i did it 10 pounds heavier and one more rep. Finally. Perseverance goes a long way. I could have been back sooner but, I took a year off almost entirely; i probably trained 5-6 times in that entire span. I’m proud of our guys. Everyone hit a PR and PC killed it!
