Do you have any way of verifying that what you’re saying is true and what literally everyone else in history (besides Kim Craft) has written?

lol @ asking me “How can you prove anything about george Washington? How do you separate fact from fiction?” and then in the next sentence you say “with presidents it’s easy”

I did ask an intelligent question. I asked what proof makes your claims facts and others claims myth?

well, i don’t have copies of the transcripts nor of the hundreds of letters that were translated. i mentioned presidents were easy, cause there is usually alot more documentation about them. you have to realize, the vast majority of books written about the countess were written years ago. kims book came out last year. i have talked to her on many occasons. its good to be skeptical.

Sorry dude, I’mma take History Channel over your one author. The difference is that there are many sources that agree on what George Washington did. You have one poorly written book with some questionable research.
ahhh, i get it now. lets attack what he loves, to get at him. lol. nice going. history channel, don’t me laugh up a lung, lol bhahaahahah. history channel simply goes by what has already been written and said. they don’t actually investigate things, lol. wow, why do i bother sometimes. how long ago was that stuff made on the history channel. 50 years ago, lol. poorly written book??? have you read the book? i suspect not. all these many sources you talk about, were made long before the transcripts and documents were made available and the lies and myths were put to rest. go to that site, i point out in a few posts ago. Im sure there were tons of sources when people still thought the earth was flat. lol bhahahahahah. but guess what, they were wrong. So, your going to take a tv program over a professor and author and teacher that has spent years researching this very topic??? you my friend, are one dumb fuck.

yes, i do realize you are simply trying to aggitate me.
oh, if your going by whether its an entertaining read or not. id say, not really. but she does base this book purely on fact. her new book is basically all the letters she translated. all of which were written by the countess herself. Kim craft is a highly educated and spent a great deal of time at the archives in budapest and im sure she had a great deal of help translating this material. no book is perfect. but she wasn’t just dealing with the myths.

My book is not non fiction. its based on a “what if” scenario and how i see her in my mind. the one big thing i have over Kim is while she may have done a ton of research, i beleieve, and yes this does sound a bit nuts, but i feel i know her. i always have felt that way. a true connection.

nah, its a rather boring book. its mainly for people that want to separate fact from fiction. my book is an actual story line.

according to the write up about Kim Crafts book, virtually all of her “facts” (sources) are not referenced or are translate by her (and verified by no one else)

That doesnt sound too legit to me.

first, Elizabeth Bathory was not a serial killer. stop beleiving everything you read. she is the ultimate example of lies becoming reality. Your soul mate is a serial killer. Otherwise I suppose George Bush planned 9/11 as well, right?

Don’t MAKE me laugh up a lung.

Are you even capable of writing a book? I suspect not.

Pointed.

I’m.

You’re.

TV (capitals) or television.

Have. Unless they are all the same person. Which begs the question… why would you say professor AND teacher?
spent years researching this very topic??? you my friend, are one dumb fuck.

Agitate.

Bitch please.

You make very basic errors in writing (and I haven’t even pointed them ALL out I’m sure) and you expect us to believe you are writing a book? For starters, capitalize the beginning of sentences, capitalize “I”, learn that a question mark does not have to be repeated three times (using “?!” is more acceptable in small doses) and learn to pick up a dictionary.

I might make spelling mistakes and grammatical errors from time to time, but I’m not claiming to be an author.

why does her translation need to be verified?? shes a highly educated person. whats their to lie about. ya, she probably could have given better source references but her reputation is inmpeccable.

theres a hugeeee differences between posting quick responses here and taking your time, checking everything you’ve typed. on here, its not that big a deal. this isn’t schoool, internet writing is different. all this is, lets insult and ridicule rogue. so, ill just let you guys carry on.

Dude, you’re absolutely fucking nonsensical.

Works of serious scholarship follow certain rules. They are common rules. Things like referencing sources, peer review, etc., not to mention the publication of the author’s CREDENTIALS in the field of study. You sound like some wing nut defending the “scholarship” of a pseudo-scientific fictional work like “The DaVinci Code”.
roguevampire wrote:

Huge difference.

School.

Internet writing is not different. If you expect to be taken seriously, write properly.

But the truth is that you’re not a real writer (at least when it comes to non-fiction), you don’t even know the basic fundamentals of research. Peer review is a crucial part of verification for historical research. Citation of sources is not optional, it is mandatory if you wish to be taken seriously as a non-fiction writer, and helps you NOT GET SUED FOR PLAGIARISM.

If you were a write, you’d know this. But you don’t.

Headhunter, you have some serious competition here.
