to make a long story short, these documents and transripts shed alot of light on these myths.

where are these documents? Do you have proof? Copies? Legit website links with copies of these court doccuments? You still have not provided any proof that would make what you say a “fact” vs what others are saying which you call “myths”

as far as her being crazy or insane. she was basically the donald trump of that era. she had dozens of estates all over hungary and even in austria, with hundreds upon hundreds of servants(employees) she was in charge of the families entire business. she handled everything… she even had her own army, which she got together to help hungary battle the turks. and the many many letters she wrote, she was anything but insane. but an extremely passionate woman.
So she was extremely rich and had hundreds of and hundreds of servants/slaves/employees… that does not in any way prove that someone isnt crazy lol there is a very fine line between “crazy” and “extreme passion”
this is pointless. do I have the said transcripts and documents in my possession. of course not. how can you prove anything about george washington? how do you separate fact from fiction. or of any known person. with presidents its easy. do you have those documents that prove what he did in battle? of course you don’t. but kim craft is a professor and an author and has seen these documents as have many other scholars. nobody has possession of them. they are located in budapest hungary. im done. people just want to fight. i have stated the facts. you ask me, well, you don’t have the actual documents. derrrr. of course i don’t thats a ludicrous thing to ask. anyways, unless there is an intelligent question. im done.
Sorry dude, I’mma take History Channel over your one author. The difference is that there are many sources that agree on what George Washington did. You have one poorly written book with some questionable research.
ahhh, i get it now. lets attack what he loves, to get at him. lol. nice going. history channel, don’t me laugh up a lung, lol bhahaahahah. history channel simply goes by what has already been written and said. they don’t actually investigate things, lol. wow, why do i bother sometimes. how long ago was that stuff made on the history channel. 50 years ago, lol. poorly written book??? have you read the book? i suspect not. all these many sources you talk about, were made long before the transcripts and documents were made available and the lies and myths were put to rest. go to that site, i point out in a few posts ago. Im sure there were tons of sources when people still thought the earth was flat. lol bhahahahahah. but guess what, they were wrong. So, your going to take a tv program over a professor and author and teacher that has spent years researching this very topic??? you my friend, are one dumb fuck.
yes, i do realize you are simply trying to aggitate me.
“At this point history becomes clouded further, and Craft appears to depend on testimony, much obtained under torture; as she does not indicate her sources in the text, it is difficult here to distinguish fact from interpolation or conclusion.”
“Still, Infamous Lady’s flaws are many, and word has it that the next edition will fix them. In this first edition, credit is not given to the translator, although Craft implies it is herself. The writing is erratic and sometimes colorless and plodding, the layout unhandsome word-processor output and the book weakly organized (in part due to the monotextural layout and presentation). Most importantly, many sources are simply absent. The bibliography (taken wholesale from this bathory.org website) is dated, sources (especially of photographs, paintings and engravings) are uncredited, the writing needs professional editing (the voice changes from first person to third willy-nilly, for example, and some names and places are printed with accurate diacriticals while others are not), and most significantly for a work of non-fiction correcting historical errors, it lacks an index.”

Like I said, poorly written book with questionable research.
oh, if your going by whether its an entertaining read or not. id say, not really. but she does base this book purely on fact. her new book is basically all the letters she translated. all of which were written by the countess herself. Kim craft is a highly educated and spent a great deal of time at the archives in budapest and im sure she had a great deal of help translating this material. no book is perfect. but she wasn’t just dealing with the myths.
My book is not non fiction. its based on a “what if” scenario and how i see her in my mind. the one big thing i have over Kim is while she may have done a ton of research, i beleieve, and yes this does sound a bit nuts, but i feel i know her. i always have felt that way. a true connection.
