That was a little obvious to qualify as subliminal, do you think it’s legit?

I really don’t know. But it’s interesting thinking if it could be.
i dont think its legit, at least it didnt work for me, because i watched that episode and didnt notice that.
isnt subliminal advertising illegal?

Isn’t that the point?

Yea, I think it is, and I don’t think McDonalds would risk it.
Maybe they would make the video though. I heard big companies are trying to get on the video uploading bandwagon with things like youtube, and they’re trying to make their ads more and more like what a normal poster would make.
No way it’s legit. It’s way too slow, way too many people would catch it. Subliminal messages are meant to go by so fast that only your subconscious is able to catch it not so slow that you would ask yourself what the hell that red flash on my tv was… Unless, of course, they wanted you to go back and find out what it was and as a result get to thinking about a nice Big Mac… I smell a conspiracy.

Step 1: Subliminal Messaging
Step 2: Reverse Psychology
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
anyway the episode, morimoto v cantu, is on now. watch and see for yourself
There’s no way the station would allow that to air like that because the fines from the FCC would be bad - Not to mention the negative press.
McDonald’s doesn’t control that, so to say whether McDonald’s would do it or not isn’t the point, it’s if the station would do it or not.
Also, as someone else said, it was way too slow to be legit.
It was a technical glitch.
“It was a technical error on our part and not a subliminal message as suggested by a Web site running the slow-motion playback,” said Food Network spokesman Mark O’Connor. “It has been corrected for all future airings.” …
“We don’t do subliminal advertising,” said Bill Whitman, a McDonald’s spokesman.
And am I the only thinking it’s crazy-ironic for Brwnbelly Yankee and his avatar to be commenting on this thread.

He continued, saying; " And if we ever did, I’m sure it was an accident, which will be corrected with loving care, and it will never happen again.

I don’t get what you mean?
Hmm… The Atomic Dog’s not up yet, maybe I’ll go for a smoke and check later.
