So I'm At A New Gym

I finally understand fully what you guys mean by squat rack curlers and so on.

My first day there, all I see are a bunch of 16-18 year old kids there. Only ONE guy had a good physique, and he wasn’t associating himself with his buds as much.

…The other gym I went to was a community center, which was full of old people (I’m talkin 70+) it was so unmotivating that after a while that everytime I went in felt like dying like half the people there were about to do.

Anyways, about 5min after I started I saw it. I finally go to a gym with a power rack and BOOM! Dude is curling on it. I wasn’t even pissed, I just laughed. I thought it was funny as hell, and I thought about T-Nation. Now that I go to a gym with younger guys I’ll have all the same complaints as you all!

Oh how I love when a guy is benching 60lb dumbells but only going 1/4 way down and grunting so loud the whole gym could hear him.

Good tymez y0h

Hooray for having 4 squat racks and 1 power rack at my Gold’s.

Hooray for having my own stuff. I love bragging about it any time someone talks about SRCing.

It was just funny because you weren’t planning on using it. Thats when you get pissed.

I too like seeing people doing heavy weights and a very limited range of motion. I don’t see why they just don’t reduce the reps or #s and crank out full reps instead of just partials.

My favorite is the full-body curl.

LMFAO

It’s true!

The only time I won’t get pissed off, is if I see a guy curling anything over 150lbs.
Then, kudos to him. haha

I do curls in one of the squat racks…squats in the other one…then again I’m at the gym at 2am so nobody gives a rat’s ass…would never do it with other people there…then again I hate being in the gym when other people are there

I do curls in the squat rack all the time. POS gym has one ez curl bar to their name. and the db’s only go to 80. their heaviest curl bar is 60 lbs.

My son said something about where we were curling last time he went with me. Screw em…I don’t see anybody here gonna make me move.

You don’t see many guys curling 150 lbs…I’m lucky to see one squatting 150 (correctly)

I’ve curled in the squat rack…I even made a regretful thread about it. I feel ashamed.

I see retards doing curls in the squat rack all the time. It doesn’t bother me because I do not use the squat racks, I use the one with the rail guided rack to keep my ass from falling over.

What does piss me off is when I see this one 40ish dude doing bench presses in the rail guided squat rack with 10lb weights, they have bench press machines, go use them.

On my second day, the place was packed full of high school kids. (note to self, don’t go at 3pm) I was doing clean & presses and some idiot kid decides to walk under the bar while I’m holding it some 8feet in the air.

Some people just have a deathwish.
