Nice to see you logging again despite the fact that you’re almost 50 and over the hill.

It’s easy to figure out which one you are. You make the other gals look out of shape.
I’m glad you started a new log, I’m enjoying reading it.
But to be honest it’s starting to get a bit “samey”
Hi SNAP!
Welcome back!
You were missed!
Hope the wedding was fun.

Yeah…bring on the skanky nurses!
Gonna try to do a meet in Nebraska in September. I’m pretty weak, but I figure I should just own it, wherever my strength is, and have a barrel of fun.
Also, I’m SERIOUSLY considering cutting to the 105 weight class. Solely because I can break the USAPL geared state squat record, which is mighty low.
In other news, a shout out to our friend G1, who went 9/9 at USAPL Raw Nationals yesterday!
following!
Lots of luck, Snap! How much do you have to lose?
hey snap, you look pretty lean to start with, would you cut just using water manipulation? I agree, though, go to the meet, and stomp around wrecking shit like the miniature godzilla that you are.
Snap, I’m gunning for you. Hope you smash the record. Have your tried using ribose prior to lifting? Two other supplements to add prior to working out are beta alaninine and inosine. I take these supplements about 15-25 minutes prior to lifting and alway get a benefit. Also, taking in arginine akg(a few grams) before lifting and 1 gram after lifting is excellent for me.
These supplements maximize oxygen uptake, directly increase and replenish ATP(muscle energy), and increase my power output. The long term affects include faster cell repair and long term strength increases. I’m not saying these are magic but with prolonged use in conjunction with lifting produce very good affects for me. Let me say that I encourage you to look these supps up online and investigate them. I use them and they work for me. I’m just suggesting these things may work for you and I say buy them separately from say Swanson online and not rely on a combination pre-work out mix.
Since you are cutting weight these things may be very helpful and I believe they are all WADA compliant.
fun sounds good. nice to see you still around ![]()
Looking forward to see you crush that record.

Way too much. I’ve let myself go.

The deadlifting at my meet was a real worry for me with the pulled right hammy. I took my opener down to 405 which I did fairly easy but with slow motion action like on a play review. Deads are supposed to be moved explosively off the floor but that wasn’t happening. So, I felt confident my strength was still good if I lifted in ultra-cautious slow-mo form. 500 lbs moved well for me but I looked like a crane clicking through thick muddy oil up and down. So, being over confident and in the mood to just go for it I tried my original planned opener of 555. My hammy was in pain and I had trouble bending down but I tried to extend my hands and arms as much as possible. The jump was too much and I could barely move the 555. My hammy said, “NO!”
Sorry to take up so much space here, just thought you might like a write up.
SNAP! Did you hear…that next years raw nationals are here in Denver? Maybe you can pop some new raw records as well come next July…
A meet is exciting
Smash that squat

This sounds like a match made in heaven.
It’s been awhile since I’ve trolled your log. Have you always gone sumo?
If you and G1 are in the same spot, I might have to do a fly by to do some real life trolling!

I’ll probably be working or helping lifters. You should lift.
