Took a week off, still ridiculously busy with music… got a weekly gig until the end of September, but had to put a new band together in two weeks for it. That means a lot of rehearsals, plus I’m resurrecting one of my old bands and booked a gig for next Thursday. So, I’m gonna try doing Dan John’s 40 day program - training almost every day when short on time might seem like a dumb idea, but they’re short sessions which makes them easier to fit into a busy day.

So, day 1.

2x5: deadlift 149 kg, military press 59 kg, pullup 10 kg, db floor press 44 kg

I know there’s supposed to be a high-rep explosive exercise and ab work. Maybe I’ll think of something tomorrow. It’s 10 PM here already.

No db swings. Been fighting a massive greasy clog using a sewer snake all afternoon, I figure that counts as cardio. It sure is tiring, anyway.
