The idea with the deadlifts is that when I can complete 20 without needing to take more than three breaths between any of the reps, I add weight. Got there today.

So now I’m doing military presses for reps with a weight that’s more than I weighed when I started lifting. Not that this means much… But to add a little variety to this very repetitive log, another song from Friday’s gig. This is the best performance of the night IMO.

Doing something different with the squats - singles off sawhorses. If you’re gonna squat from sawhorses then doing singles makes sense. I was gonna do 15 but the weight I used turned out to be a bit light for that and I did a few extra. Also lowering the weight on the military presses to make sure I don’t cheat at all.
