Last workout for a while - taking a ten-day trip starting tomorrow.
30 reps: front squat 95 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
Back now and dead tired after a long flight, so I took it easy:
30 reps: front squat 89 kg
25 reps: pullup, military press 59 kg
This was the longest break I’ve taken from lifting since I started. It’s good to be back.

This week I learned while running to catch a train that running with my bass fiddle in a bag over my shoulder is a lot easier than I would have expected.
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
15 reps: deadlift 169 kg
30 reps: pullup, db floor press 42 kg
Yup, lifting on Good Friday, and not eating much. A band I joined last week had plenty of gigs which pushed my lifting schedule off by a day.
Feeling sick - coughing, headache, that kind of thing - so I’m taking it easy.
Easter Sunday:
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
Today:
15 reps: deadlift 169 kg
30 reps: pullup, db floor press 42 kg
Still coughing but finally getting better.
Morning GPP: cut up my neighbor’s plum tree into pieces small enough to throw over a fence, then throw them over the fence to my yard.
Evening:
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
Still sick, but I tried to do as little as possible over the weekend and hopefully will be back to normal soon.
Today:
15 reps: deadlift 169 kg
30 reps: pullup, db floor press 42 kg
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
30 reps: front squat 97 kg
25 reps: pullup 12 kg, military press 63 kg
So are you doing 30 reps at a time, or going until you get 30 reps throughout an entire workout? (or 25 reps)
And you have stayed consistent for a good while now. Good job.

I’m doing as many sets as it takes to get there. One of those weird Chad Waterbury ideas - I find it works well for me.
Today:
15 reps: deadlift 169 kg (took two sets)
30 reps: pullup, db floor press 42 kg (four sets each, ranging from twelve to six reps)
I know what you are talking about. I tried that myself. I like it a lot. It’s an idea of his that I actually don’t find completely preposterous. That’s a pretty strong deadlift. I think we’re about at the same level. Are you going to move up in weight for deadlift since you got that in only two sets?
