Had another week off due to a business trip. If they keep up at this rate I’ll give up and finally buy some shoes so I can at least train in hotel gyms (all I own are various heavy boots, plus one pair of dress shoes which I haven’t worn in years).

Today did Tabata front squats with 41 kg. Ouch.

Weight: 94 kg

2x3, 3x2: deadlift 189 kg (no belt - last time I used a belt on the first three sets)
2x3, 6x2: pullup 8 kg
8x3: military press 61 kg

4x3, 4x2: front squat 109 kg
4x3, 4x2: bb row 99 kg, db floor press 44 kg
2x7, 1x6: bb row 79 kg, db floor press 36 kg

Weight yesterday: 95 kg. So that means I’ve met my mass goal for this year. On the downside, though, I’m no longer deadlifting double bodyweight for reps, haha.

Unplanned GPP workout: bought an 80 liter bag of peat and walked home with it on my shoulder. About 15 minutes.

4x3, 1x2: deadlift 189 kg. Got a nasty cramp in my right glute.

The second half of the last cramp-interrupted workout… my right glute still hurts but it’s getting better. Should be able to do a full workout tomorrow.

It’s two years since I started lifting. Today’s workout:

3x7: bb row 79 kg, db floor press 36 kg

Considering switching programs now. I’ve gotten pretty fat and don’t want to keep bulking at this time anyway.

Since I’m trying to get leaner now, changing programs to 10x3 FFL. Pretty similar to the Hepburn program, really, but with a bit more volume, lighter weights and shorter rests.

10x3: front squat 89 kg, bb row 89 kg, db floor press 40 kg

Should go heavier on the squats. Should also wrap my right wrist when training, as it’s been getting more and more sore over the past three weeks.

6x3: deadlift 149 kg
10x3: pullup, military press 55 kg

Training with a bad cold is not so bad except when you have a coughing fit in the middle of a set of deadlifts, haha.
