Smart Watches Advice for Monitoring

Hi friends!

I’m going to buy myself a smart watch for my birthday.

I mainly want it to monitor my heart rate, more so for on wakening. And also to monitor my quality of sleep, and the amount of steps I’m taking a day just to keep an eye on my general movement levels during the day.

I’m not too fussed about measuring any of these while at the gym/training.

So far I’m looking at the ionic Fitbit and Samsung gear S3. Does anybody here have any experience with these watches? Any recommendations on which one would better suit my purpose?

Uncle Bird.

After just wondering this myself and lots of reading about them I decided in the Samsung Fit2 Pro. Fairly cheap, pairs and works with my S7 and shealth. Tracks heart rate, O2, sleep, steps and all sorts of bullshit, but the thing that won me over was the memory it has so I can load it with music and not have to take my phone out too
Just waiting for the bugger to turn up.

The Samsung fit looks good, although how does it go with tracking sleep and heart rate???

Sup!

I’ve had great experiences with Garmin’s watches. My first Garmin didn’t support all of the stuff you want, but the one I have now does: Garmin Forerunner 735xt. I’ve never used it to track sleep, but it does. Plus, Garmin Connect is pretty solid. Not sure if Fitbit or those watches have such a detailed online interface - Garmin has been around the longest afaik, they are pro.

I don’t think it does music though, like the watch mentioned above or theFfitbit.

I personally like the Garmin line, but those watches mentioned look cool too.

peace!
