After hearing numerous benefits of sleep namely it’s recovery power I have decided to get a good 1-2 hours + a night and push my breakfast forward. This stratagy means I will get less food intake during the day but I am convinced it will be worth it. Where do you guys stand on this?
I always wake up in the middle of the night to pee. Usually a couple of times a night. When I wake up, I quickly drink a protein shake. That way I don’t go all night without taking in some nutrients.
It sounds like a great idea. You really don’t have to sacrifice anything, though. Just spread your calories and macronutrients out over fewer meals; ie 5 instead of 6, etc. It’ll take a little tweaking but it can certainly be done.
I'm with you on this one. I think the benefits of sleep far outweigh the extra hour of two of being in a "catabolic" state. I would just make sure that your pre-bed meal is a very slowly digesting one. Good luck!
Thanx guys it’s good to get a knowlegable backing.
