Do you live close enough to get teeny-tiny newborn snuggles soon?

Very cool, congrats, great uncle SkysykS!

Probably not until summer. She’s in the Richmond area, and my brother is in Newport News, so we need like a chunk of time to spend. A long weekend isn’t going to cut it.

Also from me, congratulations on the new member of the family. And it’s really nice to have you posting here again!

I’m going to wait to see how CL reacts so I can decide whether to say “how cool” or “oh shit, I’m sorry!”

It’s totally a “how cool!” thing. Making some side blades for plowing & scooping with a mini-tractor thing.

Very nice! Will we get to see it in action?

Nah. A couple guys do the snow stuff as kind of a hold over through winter, and I have no interest in that.

I’ll be in the shop, where its warm and I have a kurig.

Edit: Keurig.

Try again: Kuerig.

Sounds like a solid plan! Can’t get too far away from the Kuerig.

Did that today. Got tired of being tired and I know that the only way to feel better is to get moving.

So there’s that.

4 miles in a little more than 15 minutes. A little better than last time overall.

Got a new seat. Significantly better than the last one but still leaves a bit to be desired.

Cat loves it though.

Feels pretty good. I’m just going to try ramping up steadily.

It was a nice evening.

Not a great pic, but did like 5.1 miles in about 20 minutes. Thats a nice increase. My preferred performance metrics will result in 5 miles 20 minutes, or 15 mph for any given amount of time, so I’m on track for that.

Its the “any given amount of time” that will need to come along, cuz I can tell by the end at this point that I’m done. So its not a sustainable pace right now, but cardio returns quickly so endurance will be there soon enough.

Lifed some weights tonight! Kiddo wants to get stronger and asked me to lift with him today, so lift we did.

I just did a break in with deadlifting 5 sets of 3 reps at 145.

Kiddo did the same sets & reps with his own weight, and on his own initiative also threw in loaded carries around the house with a 20 lb. dumbbell.

Proud of the little dude.
