If calling me a dweeb makes the pathetic insecure angry little man inside your 250lb frame feel better…
Even in top shape I never weighed that much, and I don’t want to weigh that much. But I recognize this is a BODYBUILDING forum, so I don’t knock bodybuilders. I LEARN what I can from bodybuilders and powerlifters.
I would never go to a snowboarding board and knock snowboarding. That would be stupid. It would also be a waste of time. Why read about snowboards when I don’t care about them?
Why spend time on a bodybuilding and powerlifting forum when it’s obvious you don’t care about muscle gains or serious weightlifting?
I never knocked bodybuilders, what I’m knocking is bodybuilders that piss on everyone that doesn’t want to be like them. Why does powerlifting have Weight divisions? What’s wrong with trying to be stronger at while maintaining a current weight. Here you are calling me a ‘dweeb’ because I don’t want to be heavier than 200.
Even you yourself say you don’t want to be 250, so obviously according to some on this forum you don’t have any goals.
The point is that posting pictures of yourself flexing is used to grade the quality of the PHYSIQUE independent of “abilities.”
You really dont’ see many 165lb elite powerlifters posting pictures of themselves flexing because IT DOESN’T MATTER. Unless they are incredibly short, they won’t look very impressive.
Which is also why I just find it silly when 130lb boxers do double front bicep poses after stepping off the weigh-in scales…but that’s a whole different issue.
If you are a competitive powerlifter or weightlifter, post the pictures or videos of you doing what you do. I’m sure you will get praise for it as long as you are good at it.

That’s why I’ll never post a pic posing, but I probbaly would post a pic of a 600 lb deadlift when I hit that.

Exactally. And I’m sure noone will flame you when you do that, no matter how small you are.

Imagine if, in response to that, I posted: “Why would anyone want to deadlift 600 pounds? That’s stupid. Lifting that much weight would hinder my performance. I want to deadlift as much as Rich Franklin!” I would get eaten alive. And I would deserve to be!
Now… Apply that line of thinking to your attitude regarding muscle on a BODYBUILDING forum. Hopefully a light bulb is turning on…

I am wondering why you presented two extremes. I am also wondering why people like you equate weighing 200lbs or more with “impeding your activities”.
Because in the UFC and PRIDE, no fighter weighs more than 200 lbs.
Any fighter over 200 lbs. lacks mobility. Thus, Royce Gracie (WTF does he know, anyway?) is a total moron for training, 6’2", 290 Brock Lesnar.
CaliforniaLaw-Are you sure you watch and keep up with UFC and Pride???..there are fighters that weigh over 200 and have mobility and more importantly skill to match…Of course in UFC its best figters are around the 175-200lb range…the heavyweights in UFC suck ass.
