I feel like I’ve been ridden hard and put away wet… but in a good way. It’s nice to be training raw again and feeling like I’m working hard without worrying that I’m over doing it before a meet.

Lol used that saying for years…so true after a hard workout. I am sure when i do it to my horses they don’t think it’s funny though.
DB row 90’s, is that in each hand…omg

No. It’s one arm so 90 in the right with knee up on the bench and then the left.
You have horses? That sounds very nice. They’re a lot of work though aren’t they?
Dam very impressive on the rows.
Nah, not much work unless you really fuss over them IMO. I let them be somewhat natural, trim their feet when needed but for the most part they really just live like they are wild so to speak. They are a blast though especially inAz, think your right in the middle of a Clint Eastwood movie when ur out in the desert.

Safety Bar squats
I’ve never used a safety bar before and it was really, really hard. If, like me, your hips rise fast squatting, you pitch forward very quickly and it’s very tough to recover.

What weight class are you in[/quote]
Yeah, I consider 14 reps to be my conditioning for the day.
I compete in the 63kg weight class but have been weighing in around 59kg. Since the IPF changed the classes, I decided to go in the heavier class rather than try to drop to 57kg. That gives me lot of room to grow and not worry about making weight.

Ya that would be cardio. I got to lift in the 93’s last meet, kinda nice not having to cut to 90. Although now I’ve cleaned up my diet and won’t have to cut to make the 90’s so i would be way under if i get the opportunity to use IPF classes again.
Today we had guest lifter Ruggerlife who we thought had fallen off the face of the earth. It turns out he’s been dancing competitively and putting on weight.

and 235x14 sumo - damn.
nice job.
I like how you get to train with other lifters
I need to start doing that here.
being at the bottom of a weight class - must be nice.

Being at the bottom of the weight class is pretty nice in that I don’t have to worry about the weight but I’m also not that competitive. I think I’m going to gradually let the weight drift on a bit.
It is nice to train with other lifters. The company is nice plus you get to catch up on what’s happening with everyone.

I’m already jealous. Who knew break dancing was still so popular?
