Ever since joining the marine corps ive always had extreme pain in my lower back/upper ass on my right side only and could never figure out the culprid. Until the other day, after reciving my 5th weapons ordance release card (something you give the armoury when you take your rifle out) and it dawned on me my wallet is like 2 in. thick(due to the damn cards) and has to be causing this horrible shooting pain that is preventing me from being able to enjoy lifting the way I used to, with no pain.
Anyway I did some research and found many links to this phenomenon and im suprised its such a major problem and cant belive it didnt dawn on me earlier, and so I urge you guys out there to not sit on your wallet, doing something as simple as that can keep your pelvic/hip bones and nerves feeling better and let you keep doing what we all love, im hoping this pain will cease so i can continue the one thing that keeps me going
I stopped sitting on mine a couple years ago and it helped my lower back a lot. When I drive, I set it on the seat next to me and at work put it in my desk.

I used to get numbness in my right butt cheek from a fat wallet full of busiess cards and useless shit (not money).
I quit carrying a wallet about a year and a half ago and it’s much more comforatable now.
Have you seen the Seinfeld episode where George has this problem?
Money clip now or what?[/quote]
I was a student most of that time so I literally ever had any money. I had a credit card and a driver’s license.
I would like to get a nice leather money clip now though. I heard that the magnets in those will ruin your ATM cards though.
Who has their wallet in their back pocket? Or do the gheys put it in their pockets, and the real men put it in their back pocket, whilst cutting down a tree.
My lower back pain’s almost gone,I feel (well felt) your pain. Try an atg squat (no weight, just bw) and feel the pain. haha

That’s me in the pin stripes. Does my ass look big in those pants?
my buddy and i and a bunch of others were checking out “the shell game” on a city corner and we saw a guy cut another guys back pocket button with a razor before he saw that we saw him and walked away. ever since then i’ve kept a money clip up front. some guys i know have like four inches of shit in their wallets. i don’t get that.
I use a front pocket wallet, its a little slimmer and it works great, I used to have the back wallet and back problems, but the change in wallets helps me greatly.
