Are your pushes from rack strict? I can never tell with the lingo, we all use different terms.

Reminds me that I love chili and should make a few gallons.

The Monday ones are taken from the rack and are strict. Called them overhead press

The Friday ones are from a rack and have leg drive hence I called them push press.

Yes big sister, I will.

Gotcha. Your strict numbers are excellent, honestly. Top 1%. Your push press numbers are, on the other hand, probably not where they should be in relation to the strict. Curious, considering we all know you have a solid base from which to perform the movement.

Looking large and in charge! Juicy, juicy, juicy!
I know the pump and the lighting is accentuating it but it looks like the mid traps missed out on this one. Are you trying to bring those up?

Ho-ly! That’s the most insane back pic I’ve seen you post! I too, love some good, old school Cable rows!

The only parts of me that have ever been referred to as big are my voice and my personality. Lol.

I think as you said the light and most likely posture is making this look worse, the upper traps are creating a bit of a shadow. But I also think there is lots of room for improvement in terms of thickness in the rhomboids. I have never really focused on one specific area of the back and tend to just train movements rather than muscles. Maybe it’s time to get more specific.

Any ideas on good movements to hit this area ? Also asking @davemccright @TrainForPain @Andrewgen_Receptors @FlatsFarmer

And anyone else who is reading this and has a good idea please share ?

I like T-bar rows with a pronated grip. Chest-supported is my preferred, because I’m fragile. I’m not totally sure it’s really a gap for you though.

Anything where you can round your upper back and pull seems cool. Like lying prone on an incline bench and doing rows

This is from sandbag last week, there is some muscle there but always good to have more.
When you say hands pronated do you mean like palms up like a Yates row or facing each other.

This is interesting. I find neutral grip stuff I can dig into my lats better, but not rhomboids as well. Always cool to see some different thoughts/ experiences

Do you go full yeet when you row?
Strict form hurts this development imo.

Every row is a kroc row

I also try to pull from the scap. Not like that really makes sense, but thats how i envision it mentally.
