. I am not really bodybuilding but growing muscle helps with pretty much anything so I have had some Hypertrophy blocks sprinkled in. I added the strongman just to keep things interesting. Powerlifting is fun but it can get a little boring after a while. The conditioning has always been there but I have periods where I do more and periods like more recently where I get a bit lazy with it. The original goal of not being a fat dad (being a dad that can). Is still the goal. Luckily all these things just happens to fit that goal.
Wife took my daughter to the Alpine leadership school this weekend. Itās about a 6 hour drive from Melbourne so they drove most of the way on Saturday, stayed the night off the mountain and drove the last 2 hours on Sunday morning.
There were heavy snowfalls on Friday night and through Saturday and the conditions were really bad. Luckily she didnāt have to drive in the snow until Sunday.
By then the storm has finished and the ploughs had been out. Still had to have the chains on the car and it was slow and slippery drive.

Daughter was very excited with all the snow and didnāt seem to kind the cold. Wife dropped her off and get her settled into her room. Then drove the 6hrs back. She was very tired when she got home last night around 7:30pm.
Wonāt hear from daughter until later this week when she can email us. Not really worried about her as I know she will be fine. Sheās tough like her mum.
It was one of the ladies birthday at work today, but instead of a cake she wanted grilled chicken. Much better way to stay on track with my macros.

Strongman condition
Tonight was Farmers carry 10 meters into a duck walk 10 meters
Farmers 60KG per handle - 10m
Duck walk with 64KG kettlebell - 10m
Warm up
Farmers 10m drop turn 10m
Duck walk 10m to set it up at the other end to the farmers
Did 10 rounds of farmers into duck walk
The for the last round I went twice. So farmers into duck, walk back to the farmers and then do farmers into duck again.
Then has to walk the kettlebelll 30m + to put it away at the back of the gym.
Good session, worked up a good sweat and felt how silly a duck walk is.
@Mod_Phoenix any way to get rid of this 6 consecutive post thing. ??

Yer they had something like 70cm (28 inches) of snow in 24 hours they day before. My wife stayed the night in a town at the bottom of the mountain on Saturday night and didnāt drive up until Sunday morning after the roads had been ploughed. Apparently on the Saturday there was chaos as cars just got stuck in the storm and had to be towed off the mountain. We arenāt really set up well for these types of conditions down here. We are great at driving in the sun. LOL

Massive upper back effort. Fk! The knurling on this frame bar is horrible, really hurts your hands. Sets got better as I got warmed up.

Trained a bit later because I had a parent school thing to go to. Gym was totally empty by the end of my session. Happy with the deadlift. Axle clean and press was a rude wake up call. Need lots more practice here, and to get stronger.
