Good to know I am not the only one embracing the red shoes, I think @SvenG has some red ones too. These are basically the same as your Otomix but just from an Aussie brand called Iron Tanks Gym wear. Flat bottomed gym show kinda like a wrestling shoe.

Yer the really thin hard sole is great especially for deadlift. I have got used to squatting in them too but sometimes wonder what it would be like to squat in a lifting shoe with a heel.

I assumed the name was due to @simo74 beibg a massive fan of this (80s? Or maybe early 90s) show.

Wednesday 29 Nov - taper week 3

Deadlift
Bar x 10
60 x 5
100 x 3
140 x 2
160 x 2
185 x 3 RPE 7,
185 x 3 RPE 9. Weight got in front in third rep and that made it harder.
185 x 1 - second rep stuck at my knees and didn’t want to hitch or grind it.
185 x 1 - horrible grinder. LOL!
Upper middle back a little groan here and there. These were proper hard work.

Hammer Inc press
40 x 5 x 3 sets

Hammer machine row
40 x 8 x 3 sets

Dips - BW
10 x 3 sets

Deadlift didn’t go as well as I wanted. I think the knee pain and upper back stiffness is definitely slowing me down a little. And making it more difficult to keep my upper back tight. Still it’s done, so it’s all good.

I really rate lifting shoes for going ATG; I don’t use them for parallel though as don’t notice a difference (but I have good ankle mobility).

Some pain but speed was good.

Totally fked up the unrack on set 3 lost tightness. Rep 3 was a grinder.

112.5 x 1. - pause single - decent rep

Pull ups
8 x 3 sets

Leg curls
Light weight - some reps

Happy with tonight. fatigue is definitely reducing.
