My vote is for farmers walk one, or axle deads.

That’s not a bad idea mate, @Dani_Shugart asked me why I didn’t have my own pic as my avatar, maybe its time to say good bye to homer.

Ah shucks thanks

Looking staunch mate!

The Homer was iconic! Very identifiable! But the axle deadlift photo is extremely awesome! That’s comic book superhero-esque!

Glad to be of service! Great session, I feel you on the cramp during bench, I get back cramps or my hip feels like it’s out of joint, last bench session had my feet dancing round mid press to try and stop the hip thing, wasn’t the most stable pressing I’ve ever done!

One of my favourite ways t recover!

My wife and I went out to a friends 40th birthday on Saturday night. Ended up being a late one (for us), didn’t get home till after 1.30am and I was feeling the reduced sleep on Sunday morning. We left the kids at home to watch a movie and put themselves to bed which was a first. The party was in a pub only 10 mins down the road and I was driving so could easily have popped home if I needed to. Kids did great and were in bed by 10pm and no major bust ups. It felt like a major milestone for my wife and I, in that the kids are now old enough to be OK without us. It felt a little odd, I really cant believe that are that old already But it opens up so many positives and opportunities for us to spend some time together, which we haven’t done enough of for ages.
Sunday ended up being a lazy family day, did some chores in the morning, some food prep (of course), got out for a nice walk and had some fun rolling down hills with the kids and then the family watched a movie whilst I got the dinner sorted. Good times.

That sounds amazing.

At the urging of some of our friends we got a regular babysitter for Saturday night every few weeks. It was a great suggestion.
