There have been times that I truly believe I deserve some sort of award for not punching my oldest in the face. The level of attitude that that boy can convey with just a facial expression… Instant fury.

None of us are perfect. From what I learned in my church going years, there was only one who was perfect. My wife and I do our best (still) as I am sure the rest of you do. There comes a point when each one of my girls chose her own path. I accepted their choices. I do not always like them, but I let them know I support them. All five have graduated form college. We have two nurses, two college academic advisors, and a speech language therapist. Each one married well (not necessarily monetary wise…). When we all get together they all get along. When they leave daughters and son in law(s) tell us they love us. Raising kids is a journey, not an event. When I had to put my GSD to sleep three years ago. I came home from school about a month later and was greeted by a 12 week old German Shepherd pup. They had pooled their money and bought dad a new pal. They did it out of love. Just a thought.

Had a little weekend break with the misses and kids. It was a public holiday here on Friday so we headed off Thursday afternoon for a 3 day break.
One of my daughters friends had recently moved to Philip Island about 2 hours from Melbourne, this is somewhere we have been for a break a few times before and we love it down there. We booked an airbnb with extra beds so my daughter could have her friend stay for the weekend and then my other daughter asked if she could also invite a friend of hers who lives around 4 hours from Melbourne. So we ended up with 5 kids for the weekend which strangely ended up being easier than 3 kids. Had a fun weekend and managed to get through most of it without getting annoyed at the kids.

I always find it easier when the daughter has a couple of friends over…they just take care of themselves. Lol

Impressive lift, my man.

If you are still resisting to bend back a bit in your press (stubborn old bastard :stuck_out_tongue: ), I would probably implementseated lockout above the temple as an acessory. The way you are pressing right now, you get a good push from your legs to get the bar above the head but then you lose that steam and it’s all arms pretty much from that position on (head all the way through).

Not really resisting as such but just finding it difficult to execute. I have the same issue with log where looking up when I press just seems a bit unnatural.

Axle pulls, On the second single at 210 I start to Black out after the pull, as I am kneeling by the bar my upper body starts shaking a bit. Didn’t last too long.
