Copying @Andrewgen_Receptors and getting in some Yardio tongjht, 60 mins of grass cutting and car washing. Body was pretty sore so movement was welcome if not a little painful.

Leg and glute DOMS today is pretty bad. Walking round like a rusty robot today and dont even get me started on sitting on the toilet.

Friday 11 October- primer week

Push press from rack (paused)

Trying to be fast with the bar and smashed the bar into my nose on the way up. Eyes watered and I thought it might bleed but it was ok. Well other than the graze on my nose from the knurling. Ouch !

65 Amrap - stopped at 5 to keep the form good.
These still feel like hard work. No idea of if I am getting any better.

Barbell seated shoulder press
60 x 8 x 3 sets
Solid full ROM reps

Lat pull downs (palms towards me, like a chin up)
68 x 12 x 3 sets

RDL
130 x 8 x 3 sets
Legs and back really feeling these.

Lying tricep ext
35 x 10 x 3 sets

Good Friday night session.

Can confirm. Bars in the nose are nearly as bad as bars in the chin.

Getting ready for summer here so cleaned the BBQ and cooked some steaks. These were better than my pizza burger.

Deadlift

Add belt, no straps.
160 x 3 x 3 sets - (352 lbs) RPE 5, 5, 5
160 Amrap - stopped at 12 good reps. Maybe a few more but lungs were fried.
Middle of my Back was a little sore but it didn’t really effect the lift.

Viking press
30 x 5
40 x 5 x 3sets
40 x Amrap - 10 good ones
Sold presses, shoulders really feel these.

Db supported row
27.5 x 10 x 3 sets - ( 12 reps on last set)

Tricep overhead cable ext

Good session, would have liked a couple more reps on the deadlift and had some there if I wanted to push past the limit but o wanted something left for the rest of the session.

Tuesday conditioning

Sandbag over shoulder - EMOM
3 reps EMOM
20 mins
I took an xtra 1 minute break after the first 10 so it was 21 mins. I also did 5 reps on the last round.

Sweating hard after these, whole body was on fire. That is a whole lot of work in a small amount of time. 3720KG or 8148lbs thrown over the shoulder in 20 mins. Good session.

Wednesday 16th October- week 1

Squat

130 x 7 x 3 sets - RPE 7, 7, 7
130 Amrap - 10 reps with a few in the tank.
Lungs burning. Legs were feeling strong, back a little sore from all the sandbag work yesterday. Loving how solid squats are feeling right now. Still need to get my upper back stronger as I can feel this is the weak spot as I get tired.

Hack squat
80 (2 plates each side) x 8 x 3 sets (drop to 1 plate a side on last set. 5 more reps)
These were proper hard. They were making my knees pretty sore.

Bench
Bar x 10
60 x 5
90 x 8 x 4 sets - (198 lbs)
These were ok. Only 7 reps on the last set.

Pendlay row
100 x 5 x 3 sets (220 lbs)
Really feeling these in the upper back. Nice .

Cable row
140 x 12 x 3 sets
Good stretch in the lats. Quality

Abs - hanging knee raises - some

Good session overall, biceps were really sore from all the sandbag cleans yesterday. Upper back was a little tight too. The rest of me was ready for action.
