Mate it is a Sorinex machine and it is really good. The handles moving side ways as well as up and down make it a little harder to stabilise the press. But the action is really smooth.

Started a new training block tonight. Only 6 weeks to the strongman comp so focusing on lifts that are in the comp. Mostly deadlift and overhead. Will also add some farmers carry on one of my conditioning days and keep smashing the sandbags.

Monday 20th Feb - week 1

Deficit deadlift 2”
Bar x 10.
70 x 5
110 x 3
130 x 6 x 4 sets - (286 lbs)
No belt, moved fine but deff hit the posterior chain. First time doing these so that makes this a PR.

Overhead press - clean first rep
60 x 3 x 4 sets -
Short rest, hard work. Sweating hard.

Pull ups
4 sets of 3

Tricep press down
30 x 12 x 4 sets

Great first week. Worked fast tonight and was done in 35 mins drenched in sweat.

Wednesday 22 Feb - week 1

Squat

120 x 4 x 3 sets - RPE 6, 6, 6
Some knee pain but moved fine .No belt

Db bench press
35 x 6 x 4 sets
Easy reps at this weight. 14 reps on the last set. Felt good.

Pull downs
55 x 15
55 x 15
55 x 15

Good stretch and pump

Nice little session. Nothing was too hard.

Empty handles (20kg) - warm up
60kg - 11 runs

36c - Lungs were burning hard.

Friday 24th Feb - week 1

Axle deadlift (assume axle is 20kg)
Bar x 10
70 x 5
110 x 3 (first rep double overhand and then switched to mixed grip)
130 x 5 x 3 sets (mixed grip) - RPE - 5, 5, 5
These felt pretty good. I liked them.

Viking press
30 x 6. (15kg plate in each handle) no idea what the handle weighs so just recording the plates)
30 x 6
30 x 12 reps - had maybe 2 in the tank but didn’t want them to get ugly.

Pull downs
55 x 15 x 3 sets
Good pump

Tricep push down
40 x 12 x 3 sets
Very short rest, good pump

38c in the gym so was sweating hard by the end. Good session.

Felt good but proper hard work. Second set flew up.

These felt suitably hard.

I added the events here. There is farmers and sandbag carry in there but not for distance.
