Back on the hard conditioning tonight. I really have to stop watching Brian Alsruhe videos and reading @T3hPwnisher @kleinhound and @SvenG I really hate this stuff.

15 mins as many round as possible.

55 KG slam ball
4 In and outs (squat thrusts) with hands on the ball
2 over shoulder (one each side)

Managed 22 rounds and felt sick !!

Forearms were looking great after …… not

Is there a different name for it ??? I think that is what we called it in the Uk when I was at school. Lol

Yes its a squat thrust. In the old days done in a pressup position, no med ball.
Do you remember the old programme Superstars, the gym test were dips and squat thrusts.

I certainly do mate I used to love that show. Just hearing you say that made me want to do some dips. Lol

Had a feeling that the red Cerberus sandbag I just picked to was a little light. Guy said it was 70-80 and I want it to be 80.

Weighed it and yes it was light

So I added some more sand and now it is just over 80KG. Perfect

Weighted the monster Dumbell and it weighs 28kg unloaded.

Got some new HCP collagen protein. Iced coffee flavour which will go nice with my eggs for breakfast.
Also decided to start taking creatine again. I have taken it for more than 4 years so it will be interesting to see what impact it has on my training (if any.

Friday 13th Jan

Squat cambered bar ( assume bar is 20kg)

3 sets of 8
Bar x 10
60 x 5
80 x 3
100 x 8 x 3 sets
These moved great, felt different with the thick bar and hands at the side.

Bench press

Bar x 10
60 x 5
80 x 3
100 x 3 x 3 sets (220 lbs)

Didn’t wear the wrist wraps. All nice pauses but felt heavy. Third set was the best.

Bent over row
80 x 8 x 3 sets

Used straps nice and easy focused on using my back

RDL
100 x 10 x 3 sets (220 lbs)

Abs
Ab wheel from knees - 3 sets of 10

These are horrible but getting better

Great Friday night session. Almost empty gym as always but still a few people in there getting the work done.

Strongman Saturday today. Used the new 81kg (178 lbs)

Pick and carry, 18m (60ft) out turn 18m (60ft) back.

10 rounds in 25 mins.

Back looking strong today, would like some more thickness but still happy.

Ok got my inspiration for the day. I’ll have to keep the distance shorter so i don’t die with 200lb but im up for it.
A good chance to try both sideways and vertical front carry.

a little bit Slow but deep and solid, like me.

These are hard. Good pump

One arm db row

Used a strap for the rows on my bad arm. Elbow a little grumpy on the press but didn’t really effect.

Abs wheel from knees

It was warm tonight (30c) so really sweated my way though this. Nice session .
