100 x 5+. Got a massive lat cramp at 8 reps and had to stop. Had a few more in me.

Chest and triceps were fried from burpees yesterday. Damn sore titties after these.

Bent over row
90 x 6 x 3 sets
stopped after 2 sets cause I thought my hammies and glutes were doing to tear off my body.

Seated BNP
52.5 x 8 x 3 sets
SS
Hammer curls
20 x 8 x 3 sets
Solid reps all the way through.

Good session tonight. Especially given how much pain I am in right now. Big upper body pump from this session. I think I need a bigger t shirt.

The soreness I have everywhere in my body right now is extremely unpleasant. Glutes hurt to sit on my comfy office chair but hurt even more if I try to get up and move. Chest is rock solid and aching all over and triceps are tender everywhere. Already wondering how in earth I am going to do burpee later tonight. I guess I know the answer, I will just grunt and groan through them and get them done.

So I thought I would give a bit of a general update with my son and his ADHD and ODD.
He has been medicating now for around 4 weeks and the improvement in his behavior had been nothing short of amazing. School work is so much better, feedback from the teacher is super positive and more importantly he is must more positive about himself and how he feels.

This is definitely having a really positive impact at home and the whole household environment is greatly improved and a lot less stressful. We are still having some challenges so it is definitely not perfect. Evening time as medication wears off remains a challenge and this is where his defiance disorder becomes escalated. Something as simple as telling him to clean his teeth can become an extreme situation which results in 10-15 mins of shouting, growling, physical threatening and sometimes violence. This usually times well with when dad has the least patience so as I am sure you can imagine I dont always make things better. But I am trying and I am getting better and dealing with this stuff.

Still a long road to go but it is getting better and the family is a lot happier as a whole.

Friday 26th August - week 1

62.5 x 10 reps - rep PR yes sir.
Press felt pretty good today. Lost balance on rep 5 of the 3rd set but managed to stop with the bar at the bottom reset my feet and then still press it with no knee dip. 10 reps on the last set was proper Solid.

Pull ups
5 sets of 5 reps

Hammer curl SS machine preacher curl.
3 sets for that huge arm pump !!

Took it a little easier tonight. Hammies and glutes were still too fked to squat or deadlift. Fun session.

I am glad you’re getting to a solution. My wife and I dealt with this kind of thing for a couple years, it was one of the worst things we’ve ever gone through, with our daughter. I didn’t quote the verbs at the end of your sentence but those were all part of it for us too. Happily everything is better now. But I sympathize and feel your pain and stress with this.

You’re gonna need a bigger steak mate.

Do you mind me asking what ODD is?

I had to convert kg to freedom units, then I was impressed by the PR, then I saw that you already did the conversion for me…lol.

ODD is oppositional defiance disorder

Basically means he doesn’t want to do what he is told which is all children sometimes. But with the disorder the behaviour becomes very aggressive and basically unmanageable.

Strongman Saturday was another go at the Tower of Babel thanks to @T3hPwnisher used my barrel and did clean and press. This was hard hard work. Whole body was sore by the end of this one.

Awesome. Watching the video i see how unbalanced and awkward the barrel is. A lot more than just vertical press energy goes into raising it up!

Keeping it balanced while you press it is hard work. But it’s the cleaning it from the ground that really kicks me in the ar$e :joy:
