Personally Simo, if I had to live with you I’d feel a bit off also.

Much better session today, no anxiety, was positive I would have a good session all day today. Happy with it even though I didn’t quite hit 20.
I weighed myself again this evening, current weight is 92kg (202 lbs). I can tell I have got bigger because all my clothes are getting tighter. Also when my legs get bigger I get what I call ‘bongo’. Which is where my inner thighs rub together then I walk and get sore. The only cure is to walk with my legs wider apart and look like I have crapped myself. Ahh the joys of weight gain.
Haha dude you just had like 6 posts in a row that were extremely badass. You’re killing SS Simo!
Thanks mate, I did kind of bomb the thread a bit aye. LOL
Looking like Popeye over here, great shot of the forearms. I still think for my money, forearms and traps are the best “warning signs” that a man is dangerously strong.
(Also, cauliflower ear is 100% my biggest fat red flag that a dude is dangerous. I always wore ear guards to prevent it, but man, as an adult now, whenever I see someone with cauliflower ear it just throws up a red flag that this is a capable dude)
Well said, @atlas13. Every last bit, right down to the cauliflower ear!

Thanks @atlas13 I can tick the forearms so now need to work on the traps. I think I will leave the ears to rugby players and fighters though ![]()
@TrainForPain My arms are still so pumped this morning that it is hard to lift my cup and drink my coffee !! I suppose this is a good thing ![]()
Extra rep mate. That’s progress.
I’m loving this. Those BTN Press’s are Gunna blow your regular press Up man. They are harder then normal pressing… And you’re doing them seated!
Bench is going to benefit also man. Not to mention the extra wide base you’re building if you choose to chase the big 1rm squat…
Have you ever even done 10 reps with this weight?
Dude, just awesome. Looking like an absolute unit.
I would have to look back in my logs but think I have done sets at 8 with this weight before or maybe it was 6 reps. Memory isn’t that good.
Shoulders are blowing up from the BNP and also triceps too.
So just looks back through the logs and in one session 2 sets of 6 is the most with this weight. Have obviously hit this and more for sets of 4 or 5 but never more.
That’s nuts aye. Really it is.
Yer and it goes to show that I am really bad at judging RPE ![]()
Sandbag and burpees today. 5 rounds of 1 bag pick up and 20 burpees. Hard work but felt good to move.
I am going to tag @T3hPwnisher here even though I know you will probably read it anyway. I had a conversation with my daughter this morning and it made me think of your comments about how simple this training thing is. My daughter is in the first year of high school and apparently pretty smart.
We were driving home from her Saturday morning karate class (actually 2 classes, she is in the leadership group and helps the sensei with the younger kids for 1 class and then had her own class).
Anyway as we are driving home she comments how chungus (her word for big and round) I am looking today. I tell her that I am only 1kg under the heaviest I have ever been and that I have three more weeks of super squats to go and will hopefully put on even more weight over the next three weeks. Her immediate response to this without even thinking was “you can do it dad, just have thirds every night”. Boom and there it is, no macros no percentages no meal timing. Just have thirds every night. Notice she didn’t say seconds because she already knows that if you wanna be big seconds are not going to cut it.
I used to largely ignore your ratings after viewing the videos. ![]()
Love it! It’s so obvious to the “outsiders” and yet so many meatheads can’t grasp it.
