Just realised I got the math wrong. This is actually 242 lbs.
Congrats on being wrong!
Strongman Saturday today was a repeat of last weeks sandbag carry’s and burpees. 80kg sandbag pick up and carry, then 10 burpees. The timer was set to go every 3rd minute, so I had a little more than a minute to suck on some air between sets.
I managed to get 8 runs today (1 more than last week) and 100 burpees.
Pretty happy to get an extra run with the bag. I know compared to some of the strongman guys on here this is not a heavy bag but for me this is challenging, and doing the burpees straight after really gets the lungs pumping hard.
Good session, well done to me ![]()

Do I spy a motorcycle lurking in that post?
I’d love a motorbike, but my mum wont let me have one.
Mine won’t either but she is in a different country. Please don’t show her this post ![]()
Gorgeous bike, I love the Duke series. Sold my last bike when I moved, been feeling that itch again….
Love that last clip—just you looking tired but swole, mate!
Thanks mate. You know that feeling when you are just trying to cool down and suck in some oxygen. Head was a little cloudy
. Needed that little extra time before I can back and talked to the camera.
Got I a simple 100 burpee session with my son today. He did a great job following along with dad, even if I was a bit slow for him. ![]()
I got asked a few questions after the move sweat suffer podcast about the meals I eat at work. As I talked about in the podcast I have been eating the same 2 meals a day at work for 5 years now. Did a video of my meal prep yesterday. It’s not gourmet but it takes 30 mins of my Sunday and all me meals for work are done.
Nice mate, a valuable resource for many to grab I reckon.
(I use the same containers for my lunch, and breaky (egg/veg slice and meatballs)).
Monday 21st Feb - week 5
Squat
Bar x 10
70 x 5
90 x 3
110 x 2
130 x 2
150 x 4 x 4 sets (330 lbs) - RPE 8, 8, 8, 9.5
130 x 4
Did 4 sets at 150 and then the last set at 130. I was cooked after the 4 sets and a few reps were getting high but wanted to do 5 sets cause that what the program says. The last set at 130 felt so easy.
Leg ext
135 x 20 x 3
Felt easier today, just have rested longer.
Dumbell bench
45 x 6 x 4 sets
These were proper hard work. Still managed to pick them, layback and start the set, sit up with them after the last rep and quietly place them on the ground. Strong !!
Pull ups
Max x 3
Reps - 10, 8, 6
Left lat felt a little less sore today. Not healed but maybe mending a little
I was really really happy with tonight. I wasn’t feeling positive going into that session. Neck was a bit stiff and just felt a little tired. Got better as I went through the squat warm ups. Ended up being a good one.
You’re a unit indeed. Your chili may be the only cooking video I’ve ever watched. Great job.
If you make it look easy, you’re doing it right ![]()
Must be good lighting or a special camera lense
. Also they do say the camera adds weights ![]()

That’s a good way of looking at it mate. Maybe I should try and make more things look easy.
