For those of you think that age is a barrier check out Loz recent training session with Hicks and Mark Felix. Mark is 55 years old and still a beast. Great vid of three guys who have competed together for years just hitting some weights and enjoying hanging out together.

Squat

Knee sleeves and belt

Solid squatting. Last couple of reps on set 4 and 5 were hard but not grinders.

Bench
Bar x 10
70 x 5
90 x 3
100 x 6 x 5 sets (220 lbs) RPE 8 8 8 9 9
Felt good to be repping with 100kg
Front delts really feeling it tonight. Not sure but I think this is a volume rep PR for this weight. Claiming it anyway.

Pull ups
BW+17.5kg
3 x 5 sets
Solid 3 reps on each set

Knees to bar - some reps

And that is week 4 session 1 done. Happy with how this went. Squats were hard but didn’t miss a rep and bench was solid. Good job me.

Have you seen how wide his back is and how short his arms are? Seems like a good combination for pull ups.

I agree, but his improvement is fairly sudden. I think he is taking some kind of pullup enhancing drugs.

Yes. Hold your air for front squats, but shit yourself as you come out of the hole. That’s how I learned them.
