And there I was thinking that the popular masses were interested in pictures of my poor physique and average strength!! Now I feel silly.
So I get an email telling me the gym is opening from next Monday which is great news. I then read that I have to book a session in advance and it is 1 hour time slots. No way I can get my normal sessions done in 1 hour. Not so great news after all.
I will email then and see what options there are to do a double session. But it looks like I might need to stay at home until the gym is a little less restricted.
Other option is to do main lift at home gym and the accessories at the gym (or visa verca)
Is that going to cause you much drama? You seem to have a pretty good set up in the garage gym.
I just got one from my gym telling me that they’ll be shut from Thursday (expected) and that they’re doing me the great favour of only charging me £20 this month.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to have a government that actually takes COVID seriously… My company does, but the state itself doesn’t.

Doing the deload week in 2 days. So decided to cut back the volume even more than planned. Good little session.

It pleases me that you have let your squat revert back down to my level. That was an RPS 1 or so, nice effort.
Mate that squat was terrible. Work has been so hectic and sleep hasn’t been great for the last 2 weeks. It’s all starting to catch up with me now.

I got one of these to but it said I could only train in staffed hours (no 24/7)
And of course non of those hours are when I can actually get to the gym.
Had another crappy day at work Friday which meant I was late home and decided to give the gym a miss. That also meant work spilled over into Saturday again.
Saturday was a really bad day for me, I was stressed from work (which doesn’t happen often) and that made me a very bad person to be around. I don’t have any excuses, I was a real A hole yesterday.
Sunday was a whole new day, had a decent sleep Saturday night and really made an effort to not be grumpy on Sunday.
I feel pretty good about missing the gym, it actually means I did a proper deload week and my body is thanking me for it.
Got the wife to cut my hair today. I think I am like a reverser Sampson. When my hair gets a little longer I feel old and slow. A fresh buzz cut and I feel energised and ready to go.
This week in the gym is going to be a good one.

I know that feeling, I do it myself from time to time and have to apologize to Mrs doomy afterwards. (We have a saying about those kind of days - roughly translates into; “Today I need to be loved far more than I deserve”.)
Anyway, I think those kind of days happen for most people, the main thing are to have enough self-insight to realize when it happens and try to avoid taking it out on the ones we love.
For me, it’s because the grey shows through when my hair gets longer. Get it cut close and I can pretend it’s not there.
Lmao mate is exactly it. The sides of my head turns into white pubic hair if I let it grow. Makes me look ancient. Shave it right down and it could just be fair!! Well that’s what I left myself. ![]()

One of the reasons I keep myself clean shaven is because of the horrible dirty bullcrap that sprouts out of my skull if I don’t.
Have found a new high protein desert/drink that was yummy.
I’ve coffee flavour WPC mixed in a shaker with ice cold milk. Shake it up until it’s creamy and then add a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. Eat ice cream with a spoon and then drink the ice coffee that’s left. Soooo gooooood.

It was over 35c in the shed tonight so starting to get warm. This old boy was sweating hard. Happy with the session tonight, squats were solid but just a little slow on the top set. Neck cranking back a bit, need to sort that out again. Bench was just pump work. Quality
