Simo - The Red Shoe Diaries (Part 1)

Thanks mate. Certainly not loosing any size but not really packing on the muscle either. Squat is in a good place right now.

You maybe missed your calling in climbing or bouldering.

Also - your legs look great!

Only boulders I am interested in are the ones on our shoulders !!

It’s always nice to wake up and see that you’re already done training for the day.

Wait. So 90 kilo is man weight?

I guess I will always be a child.

I feel you. And agree with you. Mostly feel you though

Read somewhere that 200lb is fully grown man weight. That’s 91kg, time to order a pizza !!

That was my weight when I was 16-17. The summer I finally made progress was between my junior and senior year of high school (11th and 12th grade). I was 204 when school let out and I was 222.0 lbs when we started school and football practice. I thought I had muscles at 204 but once I hit 220+ I realized I was mistaken.

Now you’re just making me feel bad, I’m a similar height and only weigh 206!

Ps I still have no idea how I keep screwing up quotes.

At your height you’d be that weight coming out of a concentration camp !!

If I put on 11 kilos, I would just be TOO strong. I wouldn’t be able to hold normal things like coffee mugs and cinder blocks without utterly crushing them down to their base elements. Besides, I wouldn’t want you all feeling bad about yourselves when reading my log.

Either that or I’d be so damn fat that I wouldn’t be able to get off the sofa any longer.

@simo74 it’s extremely possible to still be fat at 200lbs and that height, trust me.

I had you down as a similar height to me (6 foot on the dot), no?

If you’re noticeably taller, I no longer have to worry about you looking better than me because you’re clearly a genetic freak that I couldn’t possibly hope to emulate. And on steroids.

I wanted to like that post but really all I want to say is … sad :frowning:

I’m 6ft 2, so slightly taller - I’m definitely not a genetic freak! I am on TRT so the roids accusations could hold water, or maybe that’s just my elevated E2!

See? I knew my failure couldn’t possibly be my fault. Everyone else is cheating.

Yeah, no shit. I wish I lived in a country where TRT was a legit option.

Do you? I genuinely don’t, and have never really considered it a viable option.

I would highly recommend that it’s only considered if you have both symptoms and tests showing many months of legit low T (and have exhausted natural methods and causes).

Then it’s a good choice but there’s a definite trend towards “I feel rubbish but my tests are “low normal” - I’ll just find a less scrupulous Dr and get on”.

It’s a ball ache (literally) and if you keep to legit ranges then you really shouldn’t be seeing benefits outside that of a normal healthy man.
