It’s probably because I dislike tempo work but I find pauses have more utility. I like smooth lifting and tempo just isn’t smooth nomsayin

Mine are sometimes a little jerky but they still feel like crap !! When I am doing a three second descent Sometimes it is like I am doing three little pauses in the way down as I count to three.
That’s 2 birds with one stone then. Call them tempo paused squats.
I don’t mind going down slow, but staying down at the bottom just stinks.

Got up early this morning to walk upstairs in the dark and tell my daughters to be quiet. They slept in the same room last night and woke up early this morning. Slipped going back down the stairs and smashed my foot into the balustrade spindles. Pretty sure ive broken the second smallest toe on my right foot. Nice a swollen and black this morning!
