Yeah there were quite a few among the audience as well in my theatre. But when you know it, it’s a real Tarantino, it’s awesome. And a great tribute to US music, television, cars and everything in the 60’s.
I think it was you… but somebody mentioned a CrossFit documentary in their journal the other day and it got me searching on Netflix. They have a few strongman/CrossFit/bodybuilding ones on the ole Netflix. I watched one yesterday and it was pretty good! Trying to figure out the name now lol it was a strongman one
There is Eddie strongman on there and also Born Strong which is about the Arnold comp. There is 3 or 4 CrossFit movies.

Woke feeling a little tired but otherwise good today. My wrist pain and finger numbness seems to have dissipated so that’s good. Ready for a good bench session tonight.

Great session tonight, really happy with bench. I know it’s still poverty weight but it’s slowly getting better and that makes me smile.

They get a little longer as I progress through the blocks and the load and set volume increases. Shortest session of the week is today (heavy bench day). This took me about 1 hour 25 mins tonight and rests on bench and squat were 3-4 mins, shorter on the accessories.
Monday’s squat and bench session was a bit longer, maybe 1 hour 45.
Woke feeling pretty tired today. My son has a cold which has made him chesty, so he was coughing last night and woke early this morning. Body feels good, back is fine, legs feel better after the squats yesterday and wrist and hand pain is gone. Looking forward to deadlift tonight and really looking forward to the next 3 weeks peak into the comp.
Next week I will hit a heavy single on my heavy days of squat, bench and deadlift and then drop back to 4’s for squat, triples for bench and 5’s for deadlift. The following week will be a heavier single and then drop and do triples for all three lifts.

Good session tonight, back is a little angry but hopefully some rest over the weekend will see it right.
Woke up very very stiff today. Lower back is tight and sore, especially on left hand side. Just feels like very tight muscles so will eat and drink lots today and try and keep it moving. Left hand feels a little swollen and numb again today, guessing it’s from gripping deadlifts yesterday.
Saw that one about a month ago. Was kinda entertaining, didn’t get my motor running like the crossfit ones or Westside vs the world though.
Back feels a little better today but I have DOMS everywhere. Back, traps, chest, glutes, quads, shoulders!!! Kids keep climbing or jumping on me which is not nice. Lol
Well you’ve had some really hard workouts lately, so that doesn’t surprise me a all.
And you like the kids hanging around, so you should have said which is nice.

Woke feeling pretty good today. My son has a bad cough so I didn’t get the best night sleep but still rested enough.
It is now only 3 weeks to my novice comp. The next 2 weeks will see me work up to a heavy single and then back off a little and do some heavy 4’s or 3’s. The reps in the light and medium work will reduce and the assistance starts to drop a little each week too.
Getting excited to see how the heavier singles go this week and what my body feels like as the program changes.
