Hell, if I did that, I’d only have like four friends left.
Crazy talk!

oh man, i am so sorry you live in malden. that place is a shit hole. a friend of mine from school moved there a while back…needless to say he didn’t stay there long.
i’m also assuming you go to BHCC since you live on the orange line. i’m sorry for that too. i don’t like that place much either. you need to move and / or go to a better school.
just out of curiosity, were to you lift? school? some crack house gym in malden?
as you get older having the constant presence of friends or a “social life” just seems a hell of a lot less important even if you’re not constantly busy
<— 26 here
just talk to people

yeah i dont live in Boston, i live in Malden, its filled with white trash junkies and foreigners although so is the Cape so im sure you can relate.
i never settle for mediocricy either, i have high expectations and i think thats what keeps me moving every day. i just have the mindset that if you allow yourself to give up once youll do it again and again.
What’s wrong with foreigners? aren’t the bulk of N.Americans foreigners?
[/quote]
Yes, focus on the foreigners part of the equation shire, and maybe you will find some racism! That would be a good find eh? He said white trash junkies but that doesn’t count, it’s just not good enough, let’s go with foreigners. Shut the fuck up… seriously. Don’t talk about ‘N.Americans’… you aren’t one. Stick with chavs, nobody cares if you take the piss out of them right? But remember, everything else is off limits!
Cunt.
I hear ya man. Being so wrapped up in work and lifting takes a lot of time. Luckily I got a girl that I live with; but I didn’t for YEARS and I went through the same shit.
Everyone does.
Don’t get too down about Boston dude, sure it’s not 80 in the winter…but there is still shit to do.
Try not waiting until Thursday to plan shit for the weekend…make plans in advance.
Go snowboarding, look up concerts or comedians. I’m going to see Jim Gaffigan i a few weeks…I bought the tickets 3weeks ago.
The snow will be falling soon, so hopefully snowboarding will take place. I suck at it, but it’s fun.
And then you got your snowbunnies. Hard to find (b/c of all the winter gear) but they are in shape for sure!
If there are girls that lift (not just do cardio) at your gym; try talking to them and telling them you like to see girls that aren’t just cardio freaks or whatever and it’s nice to see that not only guys appreciated the steel.
Good luck dude!

Don’t flatter yourself…I can’t speak for RJ, but I know I was never ‘mad’ at you…when you first appeared you were just unbelievably easy to goof on…things haven’t really changed that much I guess…

Holy macaroni! You need to brush your mouth out with a toilet brush and bleach.
I never said he was a racist.

thats super but i havent met anyone FROM MA that likes it here. anyone who does like it here is from some god knows where place where its hot all the time and they have the luxury of going to a beach whenever they want. they like it here because its the total opposite and they think its European or some shit. i actually have expectations of seeing Europe so please dont ruin it for me by saying Boston is similar.
you may also get the odd case where someone gets to travel alot and that way the need for change is met through that and they can still enjoy spending some time here because they arent here constantly.
idk you may think im just being sour but theres a reason Boston is known for having the rudest and least friendly people. this place saaaaaaaaaaaaaaahks dood

I don’t doubt this…the guys that love living there because they get tons of ass aren’t hanging around with you…duh…
Even though I said earlier that I might be looking for a place to move, I wouldn’t do it just because of a gender ratio/hot women - except in extreme cases (i.e. I would never move to Alaska).
If you really want to play the odds though, move to Springfield:
(Check age range 18-29, it’s kind of depressing).
I’m starting to learn that if you can’t make it work in your area though moving probably isn’t going to change things. I’ve moved around a good deal, hung out with all different people, but every place ends up being the same result, with me being so incredibly bored. Result is I don’t care enough to make an effort and I can’t seem to focus on people talking when I DO want to make an effort.
I get bored with pretty much everything really easy…i’m actually starting to think I have adult ADHD (no joke). Going in for psychological testing in a week. Should be interesting regardless…
lol you couldnt pay me to move to Springfield, MA. its one of the most dangerous cities in the US dude. it’s worse than anything Boston has, Orchard Park, Harbor, Academy, Heath, Coolidge. from what ive heard Springfield is just that much worse.
probaly has a high ratio of women to men cause all the men are are in jail or dead once they hit 14.

It’s good to learn this…I had friends that never did…basically you can’t escape from yourself…work on who you are, not where you are.

I live in a suburb of Springfield. It’s nice because by the time the bullets get here they’re not moving fast enough to kill you.
Most of the time.
I’m bostonian here, and I have no idea why you’re so hung up about this area being shitty, I always have a good time in the city.
Talk to people.

this is great advice last year me and some mates went up too the snow for a couple of days during the week, we took beginner snow boarding lessons - so many attractive girls around our age(20) at the time, were taking them.
But yeah I’m in the same boat and the girls I do talk too can’t keep my interest as they usually come off as mildly retarded(forest gump iq), I’m not after an Einstein but someone with at least a little grounding in what’s going on in the world and can hold a conversation on something other than the hills/neighbours/home and away.
it’s funny after I cut I thought girls would be trying too get my attention a) that was wrong and b) i ended up always having to be the first too start conversation.
