As usual, a lot of good advice here. Take it, use it. Here’s my two cents. I don’t know what kind of work you are doing for your dad, but take a look around for opportunities to exercise. Do pushups. Do hand stand push ups against a wall (based on my personal experience, don’t use a door unless you can lock it). If you have to drive a car or truck around, whenever you get out grab the bumper and try to pick it up (use good form). Do step ups on chairs (solid ones). If you have room, hang a rope and climb it hand over hand every day. Make up exercises. Look at the mechanics of every motion you do and figure out a way to make it harder. Lift any thing liftable. Don’t walk when you can run. Don’t ride when you can walk. Climb stairs. Climb ladders hand over hand. You get my drift. Some of the strongest guys I have known never lifted anything other than stuff involved in their work. You don’t need a gym. You just need the will to be stronger. Oh, and drink a lot of milk!

This is how I see it. Those who take command of their life still are vulnerable to destiny. Destiny is only those events greater then themselves that they cannot control. Those who never accept responsibility for their lives and just let things happen are predestined. It explains why things are the way they are for me.
In other words it is not all or nothing with this idea. Many religions have coming of age ceremonies, which I believe is to signify that point when one should transition from the innocence of a child to the responsibility of a man. Unfortunately many never full make that transition to accepting full responsibility for their lives and action. Those who do not are pre-destined.
Our culture often mistakes actions for choice. You are a man when you fuck, drink, curse, fight. Often these actions have no choice/thought behind them. Many people keep mistaking their actions as evidence of maturity or being an adult.

Some of them may have a genetic advantage over others which makes it easier for them, but they all still work very hard. Your advice is terrible and nobody should ever listen to you.
