Showtime's Dexter

All that action between Angel and Lila and STILL she didn’t flash any vag! Damn!!

Yeah, Dexter’s going to have to find a way to bump her off eventually. Maybe not this season, as there seems to be too much going on (and only 2 episodes left), but perhaps next season.

BTW, to the guy who predicted the old man ass shot for last season’s episode, bravo! (If only we could be celebrating . . . some sort of happier occasion). :frowning:

The previews of next week’s episode seem to show that Doakes will have escaped from the cage. I honestly have no idea where it all goes from here. Sure, Dexter tried to frame him by putting Doakes’ fingerprints on those tools which he temporarily “hid” in the water off that pier, but if Doakes gets free he’ll probably have a lot of verifiable info with which he could rat out Dexter, I would think.

It was cool (in a morbid sort of way) how Dexter cut that one guy to pieces with Doakes in the room. That made for a pretty charged scene.

It was also interesting when they showed the flashback to a time when Harry walked in on a young Dexter cutting up a body and got physically ill from the sight.

I think that’ll play well into the next episode. Is this the last season?

It’s only season 2 so I hope not!

Pretty sure they haven’t said one way or the other. But if they had locked Dexter up i’m sure word would be out. He’s going to squeeze out of this, just not sure how.

Part of me thinks that Doakes has no chance, but what about the blood that was able to seep out of the plastic and into Doakes’ cell? That seems like it could come back to bite Dexter in the ass.

Still, though, Dexter’s cover being blown was seriously fuck up the premise of the show w/ Dexter trying to fit in, so even suspicion against him that doesn’t hold up in court would be a case of the writers committing artistic suicide…but I guess a case of sabotage on their part wouldn’t be too surprising, given the strike.

The teaser for the next episode shows Lila using the stored past trip data in Dexter’s minivan to find the cabin in the woods…surely she’ll encounter Doakes? This could get good, fellas.

I just started watching-They are all online- here is the link http://www12.alluc.org/alluc/tv-shows.html?action=getviewcategory&category_uid=545
For those of us who don’t have showtime, loading is slow but I just watch tv while it loads. takes like 20 min or so sometimes.

Its right up their with The Wire, Rome, sopranos. Great show can’t wait for more free time to catch up on it.

I wouldn’t quite put it up there with ROME, but it’s a good show.

They already have season 2’s episode 11 and 12 out on warez forums, just for the information.

Videostic has them, too. I’m going through the intro of episode 11 right now and drooling all over my keyboard.

This show is like crack, man, thanks for the heads up.

I watched episodes 11 and 12 last night and while I don’t want to give any spoilers, I would be curious as to what others thought?

I though they rocked! Good ending, althrough I can’t image what they will use for season 3. Hopefully they will have a season 3 teaser aired when episode 12 airs for real too.

Well, in the interest of not giving too much away, I will say that although I found the very, very end of episode 12 a little cliche (I’m sure everyone will see it coming), I still cheered.

Already looking forward to next season.

Man, I’m gonna’ miss this show. Can’t wait for Season 3.

So, did they screw up the timeline in the end?

How did he go to Paris and make it back in time for Doakes’s service?

Aside from that, Awesome!

I think Doakes get’s pinned for the murders or is at least the prime suspect. Here is the scenario.

The fingers start to point towards Doakes.

Dexter kills him and then frames him using the blood samples that Doakes removed from Dexters apartment or Dex let’s him go to jail. He gets real careful about disposal moving forward.

Lila doesn’t last until the end of the season. He’s back with Rita by the last episode this season.[/quote]

Ok so I got most of this right! Timing was a little off.

That was a great final episode. Loved Dexter’s first international kill.

I am really tempted to buy the books but I enjoy the show so much I will wait until the series is ended.

Hell of a finale.

It was good, but I felt bad for Doakes. I’m glad we won’t see Lila next season!

I’m a little curious what Dexter was planning to do with Lila’s body. He was putting her into a full body bag, so didn’t seem like he planned to cutt her up there.

So he’s in a hotel room, with a dead body. Where does he go from there?

If he cut’s her up and does the usual Dexter thing and they find the body that it could reveal that the butcher is still alive but moved to France.

I think he did something a little different to throw off the trail. She has a direct link to Dexter so he needs to be extra cautious.

I’m not – I was still hoping for more of her naked!
