I actually wouldn’t mind Julia Stiles sticking around a few more seasons.
I can’t see Liddy telling Deb, though… he just seems too shady for that. Either blackmailing him or attempting to throw a Hail Mary to get his career back on tract seems more likely.
Not sure how I’d feel about Deb knowing Dexter helped Lumen kill all those people, either. One of the big reasons why he is able to get away with as much as he does is because no one at the station (including Deb), have any idea that he is capable of being anything more harmful than a blood geek (at least, just about no one). He’s done quite a bit of shit that would come off as questionable if there was even an inkling of suspicion in Deb’s mind that he had a darker side to him.
While I can’t say this is my favorite season yet, I like the way that are pacing it so it all comes down to the final episodes.
I saw this thread had apost in it, last night before I got to watch it. Luckily, the wife stayed up to watch it so i didn’t have to wait.
When Dex walked off at the end and it rolled the credits, I was like “NOOOOO!!!” I can’t wait until next week. If Deb does see Dex doing something, I wonder what circumstance it’s going to be.
Also, you guys notice how Dexter acts with Lumen? WAAAY different than he did with Rita, like he actually does have feelings inside and they’re able to come out with Lumen, whereas Rita was just for show it seems.

Dexter has a personal connection with Lumen that he didn’t have with Rita, I like it. It allows him to be the monster he is but he knows that he isn’t one.
Also, the scene where he buys her the knife was classic, braclet? No, Ring? No, knife? yes. LOL.
I was a bit surprised that Lumen left alive and on her own. Once her dark passenger was gone, no need for her to stay.
I did like that final scene where you see the darkness in Dexter surface as he blew out the candle. I can only hope that sets up next season to be a dark one for dexter. Lots of killings and brutal ones.

That’s my biggest complaint about the finale, they had this great build up with Dexter/Quinn which easily could have been carried over into next season leaving us all anxiously awaiting it. Instead they kill it off? WTF is this shit? I’m starting to get very meh about the entire show
I was ok with the finale, I thought it wrapped shit up well for the most part. I’m sure we’ll be seeing Lumen return at some point, maybe after she gets raped again or something? I REALLY hope next season has Dex slaughtering the shit out of people, with his “dark passenger” on a rampage!
