That’s my biggest complaint about the finale, they had this great build up with Dexter/Quinn which easily could have been carried over into next season leaving us all anxiously awaiting it. Instead they kill it off? WTF is this shit? I’m starting to get very meh about the entire show
I don’t think so. Quinn now knows for certain that Dexter is a killer…and I don’t think they could just leave the Liddy case open, especially when he had all the equipment signed out under Quinn’s name. There’s still questions to be answered.

What about Dexter’s babysitter? Is she a babynapper?

and what about Julia Style’s husband…will she end up confessing to him what happened and why she left him? Will she tell him about Dexter?

Those are all pretty lame plot lines…

I think that whole speech at the end of the episode means that Dexter is going to try to get rid of his own dark passenger. Lumen got rid of hers after she killed Jordan Chase and got closure to the whole rape thing. I think Dexter is going to realize that it’s Harry’s fault that he witnessed his mothers death and somehow symbolically kill Harry.

And I’m pissed that the kids are going to be back too. Atleast theyre trying to make Astor seem less annoying.

I would be disappointed if he kills of Harry - who is more of his conscience/intuition than he is a dark passenger (not sure if that is what you are suggesting or not).

I also highly doubt we are going to see a darker Dexter in the upcoming seasons… that ship has sailed, in my mind.

All in all, this was my least favorite season.

What I meant was I think Dexter wants to be a real person.

The whole series has been him faking interactions, this season he finally connects with Lumen who sees what he really is and doesn’t care. But then she kills Jordan Chase and her dark passenger is gone, she leaves him, insert forever alone picture. All along he was trying to find someone to connect with based on him being a killer and now he realizes it will never happen.

But now he knows that he isn’t “broken” forever, that if he can find closure maybe he can get rid of his dark passenger too. Lumen had to kill the guys responsible for her trauma, and we’ve seen in past seasons that it’s basically Harry’s fault that Dexter watched his mom get cut up.

Definitely my least favorite season too, I wish they would have ended it with Deb catching Dexter in the act.

For some reason, this really bothers me.
Shouldn’t bother you anymore, these two are getting a divorce.

Really? Is it because of his fling with Lumen?

Lumen has more meat on her bones. I can see why he would give her a shot.

Jennifer Carpenter is waaaaaaay too skinny.

Mos Def and Colin Hanks have signed on for multiple episodes next season!! Can’t wait

Cool!

I love the series, looking forward to the next one.

Bump.

This new season looks promising… and not just because of the nice gratuitous tittay shot.

Season 5 was pretty pretty disappointing, so fingers crossed for this one kicking ass.

Not disappointing but i prayed with all my strengths that Lumen would be dead by every episode, she was just retarded as Deb was.

This season will kick ass.

I can’t wait, my absolute favourite series on TV.

Anyone watch the new show last night?

Thought it was really good. Great setup in the beginning with him calling 911 and pretending to be hurt.

So far, it seems like it can be very promising to be violent this season.

“Stop talking Dexter!” literally made me lol.

This does look like a great season. The very strong anti-god soapbox surprised me though. Would be a shame to ruin such a good.show with blatant ideological ass hattery.

Season 5 blew buffalo balls. Gonna check the new ep today.

It was really good! Loved Dexter getting that blow job. Made him seem more real!
Don’t like how they don’t say why LaGuarda and Batista got divorced! Or now Batista’s sister is Dexters new nanny…

No shit! They certainly didn’t transition the full story well. I thought maybe I was confused about the premiere.

Fortunately it’s a series you can just jump in to and and get involved. In another episode it will just be an understood aspect of the story line I bet.
