I don’t want her dead necessarily, just not on the show. I don’t care for her acting or her character.
I would love to see another season of Dexter just doing his thing. I miss the internal struggle a lot of the previous seasons created, when the fuck was the last time we saw Harry? Those were always my favorite scenes, James Remar is fantastic.
What ever happened to Deb figuring out the Ice Truck Killer and Dexter were brothers? Remember that from the fourth season writers?
I don’t dislike Lumen, either, but I just can’t see them fitting her character into future seasons.
As far as Quinn figuring out Dexter’s secret: wasn’t Quinn originally advertised as a detective with shady morals (I remember him taking money from a crime scene a couple seasons back)? Probably wouldn’t be the most unbelievable thing for him to come to some conclusion over what he assumes to be Dexter’s deal (something a little less serial than serial killing) and decide not to run with it due to his feelings for Deb.
Anyone who didn’t immediately jump on the motivational speaker within seconds is outta their mind. I’m just looking forward to seeing what kind of fallout there is going to be over a celebrity like that going missing.

Maybe with Deb getting suspended and Quinn seeing the photos of Dexter and Lumen together, she starts to put the pieces together. Deb could also be the one that ends Quinn or Liddy life to protect Dexter and destroy the evidence.
They seem to have forgotten a few things and bring in more than we hoped, but it could all be part of the entire season.

Debs a spaz, Not sure how her character could make rank. If she sleeps with someone on the show he will either be a Bad guy or end up dead or really jacked up. She is the kiss of death.
But i still see the show ending one day with Dexter biting the big one and Deb raising his kid and having the same relationship that Dexter had with his DAD.
And can someone please torture Quinn, Man I’ve hated that smug character from the start. Kudos to any actor that can make me hate him before his first line THATS Acting…OR he is an ass in real life.
Yeah that one wasn’t all that great. Would have been sweet if Lumen stabbed that bitch Cody, she’s got a fucking att-i-tude! Made me LOL when Dex said they looked like racoons though.
I was really hoping Quinn would have choked out Liddy and ended his shit right there.
I’ve gotten a bit sick of the astronomical number of crime dramas and such that seem to glorify killers and the like. Sure that may not be the intention but that’s how a lot of kids are going to take it and be inspired by it. I hate all the CSI, abbreviation this and that crime shows which seem to come short of the stonedly cynical ‘investigators’ who look like they could whip out and beat their meat to the sight of the latest corpse they have received while describing the torments visited upon the victim with saliva moistened glee.

What is funny about Deb is how she is quick to judge Dexter on anything and having her own opinion and not caring about the truth regarding her brother, but yet, she wants to catch the real killers. Her character has been a fuckup since day one, but she is a good character to have on the show.
The previews for next week looked interesting, especially with the cameras seem to be setup to catch Dexter in the act. 3 shows left, I hope it really picks up.

They purposely do that, just like the preview where he was chasing the saran wrapped guy and the next thing it shows is deb looking at him and saying his name questioningly.
I enjoyed watching Dexter beat that boyfriend up and explain what he was doing as we doing it, he was I guess quasi Dark Passenger there. Looking forward to how this plays out with Liddy and Dexter.
I hope they delve into Jordan Chase’s background and psychology a little more before offing him.

The next two shows will be really good and interesting.
They sort of setup the whole Lumen and Dexter thing when the scene where Lumen fell asleep and slept for hours because Dexter was with her, she feels safe with him.
I also thought the line he said after they had sex… “she doesn’t think I am a monster”. Seems like he been searching for someone or something so he doesn’t think he is a monster.
I read somewhere that Julia Stiles is signed on for 4 years, so 3 more seasons…
I predict that Liddy is going to tell Deb about Dexter, Quinn will kill Liddy to protect Dexter for Deb, and Deb/Quinn are going to let Lumen kill Jordan Chase. I think they were foreshadowing her morals when she was like, The first person I thought of when I was thinking who’d want to kill these guys was me.
If Julia Stiles is signed on for multiple seasons I guess that rules out the idea of her dying. Safe to say there’s probably going to be a pretty high body count in the next two episodes, with Chase, Liddy, and potentially Quinn getting put on the table. I think they set things up so that next season has a strong focus on Deb questioning Dexter and getting really close to figuring him out.
