Once they are in the house it is game over. I get texts from my wife wanting to bring animals home. I have to be careful of I will soon have a dozen dogs running around.

@bulldog9899

Hahah! When he was upside down making those noises I had visions of Jabba the Hutt LOL.

He’s awesome! Big happy laughing dog!

You know hyperthyroidism in cats is 100% treatable, right?

My cat lost most of his muscle at 15. I had him go through radioiodine therapy and it cured him 100%. He regained all of his muscle and is now almost 19 and healthier than ever.

Besides the fact that it’s fairly expensive, our cat also has a massive tumor on his head and recently, breath that stinks like a cat in renal failure (he gets dentals under her wellness plan). My wife is a tech of 15 years, so she knows it’s treatable, but she also knows when an animal is declining quickly, and Gizmo is there.

Sorry to hear that. It’s always hard to see a pet decline.

That hurts to hear. Animals don’t feel self pity the way we do. That always helped me to know.

Nala: 15 years old in September and still very fit apart from losing a good bit of her hearing.

Sunny: 14 years old, missing several teeth and very close to deaf but happy and squirmy as ever.

I’m on the left, holding Kobe, my beautiful and ridiculous lab-boxer-shepherd-I-think mix while my nephew broom-brushes him.
